I did some last minute Christmas shopping here. They had a good selection of home goods that were cute. I was impressed with quite a large selection of bird feeders and different types of bird food as well as options for pet care. Orscheln had a large selection of gifts and gift sets. The clothing section was laid out well and they had really cute T-shirts as well as big name work clothes. The prices were very reasonable and they were having a great sale. We live on 32 acres of trees and brush and are often in need of equipment and supplies to maintain the surrounding forest. We burn a huge amount of firewood cut on the property, which requires a variety of power tools. We have always been sort of surprised at the earnest friendliness and desire to help us every time we have shopped there over the last few years. Went to the Basehor location today to look at flowers. Over half of the flowers in the parking lot area were dead, the rest were almost dead. A teenage employee was standing there watering crusty dead plants with a fertilizer hose attachment, like that was somehow going to bring them back. We were super disappointed in how the flowers weren’t being cared for properly AT ALL. They weren’t even a little withered. They were literally dead and disintegrating.
