Went to the Basehor location on Saturday June 24. It was 92 degrees outside and I had my sleeping granddaughter in the car. I ordered a 3 piece chicken strip and then left after my order was delivered. Pulled out the strips and took a bite only to realize that they had taken some old previously cooked strips and recooked them. They were dark dark brown and the inside was yellow. Turned around to return them and upon pulling up, barely got the issue out before they removed them and told me to hold on. 18 minutes later still no strips, an employee comes to the window and says “sorry for the trouble, here are 2 coupons for your next visit”. Immediately looked at them only to see they weee expired by 2 years no surprise there. 3 minutes later they came to the window and handed me a replacement order. I pulled up as there was a line forming and 2 cars had already left, and inspected the order. I waited 23 minutes for 3 burned recooked again strips. I got out knocked on the window waited 2 minutes until they decided they could speak to me and said “ I just want my money back. These are no different than what I returned and I’m not eating them let alone feeding them to my baby”. She gave me a look took them and disappeared. She then apparently got on the phone with someone I assume to talk about me. After 2 more minutes I hit in my car and left. It’s ridiculous. The last 3 times I have been here I havent had a single issue!! I just need to say thank you for stepping your game up like we asked! This sonic is now back on my list of places I love!

This is the worst sonic I have ever been to. Frankly it needs to be shut down now. It is just ridiculous how lazy and obviously un aring these employees and managers are! First off I'm the manager of a nearby food place and I come here regularly because it's close and convenient. At least that's what I thought! The last 3 times I have been here, they take 30 mins or so to take my order, I have to move to 2 or 3 different stalls before they will ask me what I want. When they finally take my order, which is normally a classic slider burger or a sonic burger with extra pickle and a small fry, it takes them even longer to make my food than it does to take my order. In times of Covid and with all the job shortages, I’m very patient as I know what a struggle employers are having finding employees. Today my order was taken quickly and no waiting. However, as my 90 year old mother and I was placing our order, a young man told me my tire was flat. When we got to the window, my Mom asked if there was anyone in there that would change a tire. Fortunately since there were no other customers at the time, they all came out. There are two brothers that work there as cooks and one of them attempted to put my donut on, but couldn’t get my jack to work. He called his sister at home to bring up his personal jack and then she was helping right along side her two brothers. We offered to fill their truck up with gas because we only had $7 in cash between us, but they refused. I don’t know who these kids are, but they’ve certainly been raised right! Also a shout out to the manager who picked up the slack to allow these kids to change my tire.
