Maurices — Local services in Batesville

Went in store this evening, DEC 9, at 7:40pm to see if I could find anything cute to wear to a family gathering tomorrow. I was not greeted by a single employee, although two watched me walk in. I browsed the store, found some cute things, but Still was not greeted by one employee. I walked right by the cashiers booth, where the three employees were talking. Still not a one of them asked me if I was finding what I was looking for, or anything else. They were involved with themselves and their own conversation, and making sure that I heard them count their drawers for the night. I walked out and left. Still not a word from any of them. This is by far the most rude and unprofessional/unwelcoming staff I have ever experienced at Maurices. When I walked in, you could tell they were annoyed that I came on at “closing time.” The door says they close at 8pm, but their website says 9pm.

They have cute clothes, but the employees made for a very unwelcoming shopping visit. There were also clothes on the floor in piles by the clearance items.

Would be nice.if one of the 3 or 4 available would answer a phone once in a while... as in I have called this store 3 different days in the last month and multiple dials each time... no one could seem to answer the phone and from a visual outside the store seemed as though 2 of them were pretty bored and had nothing to do yet they couldn't answer a damn phone... that's sad... very sad... maybe another store will enjoy the business and sales... I will not be spending my money here... screw that... I'll go to a store where quality is...

My daughter & I went in Saturday afternoon. My daughter wanted to go I had been in earlier in the week & wasn't looking for anything in particular.
