Don't pay more than is required because if you return it early they will keep any money you have over paid. It isn't in the contract that you sign but they'll act like you agreed to forfeit your money somewhere. I returned a product (playstation 5) over 3 weeks early because I decided that paying 400% of retail was ridiculous ($2,350 vs $500 any where else) and they refused to refund any portion of my over payment. They'll be able to rent it out again and make double the money during that time. Absolutely unethical, illegal, and just plan bad business practices. If the DM doesn't make this right, I'll be filing with the BBB, small claims, Ohio Attorney General and the Federal Trade Commision. I'm sure there's plenty of other people out here who have been scamed by you keeping their money that was OVERPAYED. Edit: Right after posting this review, the store gm contacted me stating that corporate authorized the refund of my over payment. He was very polite and seemed sincere. While I truly do appreciate that they are making this right, it shouldn't have taken all of this to get results. First - I have had a dryer that I have to move to a different spot every time because I’m paying this obnoxious price and they never even provided me with the correct cord to go into my outlet. Nor did they set up that little exhaust tube - which is a fire hazard. Also. You can pay your bill on time every time. But God forbid it doesn’t come out once cause you’ll think the police are at your door and it’s just rent a center. When this is done - if I decide to even keep it - I will never in my life give them any more business and I will be sure to not recommend them to anyone. They’ve even pounded on my door like that just to leave a paper about them having a sale. Then I find out they’re trained to beat down doors like that. I made a mistake and forgot to pay the one bill with you all since I have been buying from you. I have paid off a lot of stuff from rentacenter here in town. They would only work have way with me with no other option. So they are going to get the furniture today. I've been with you all way before I got married to the last name of Williams, previously Christian Bicknell.
