This store sized my wedding ring and within a few weeks the head diamond fell out. We had it repaired and AGAIN very shortly after I noticed it was missing but this time I was unable to find the diamond. Both times it was a clean detachment from the ring as visible by the bottom of the ring (where the diamond sits) and the first time I recovered the diamond it was also smooth at the bottom.
The company went through their insurance company to see if it could be covered as it was a poor solder job but once the insurance denied the claim as it does not cover this type of issue. As such, the company refused to cover the ring despite the fact that it was poor workmanship. I am not out of a 1+ct diamond estimated (by them and others) to be between $9-12,000 and was told to have my lawyer contact theirs. Will suggested that it was unsoldered, meaning that we had taken the ring apart ourselves.
Lastly, we had taken pictures of the ring before dropping it off the them the second time and spoken with other reputable jewelry stores in the area and all agreed that this had to be an issue with the solder workmanship NOT something that someone would be able to do at home and thought it was LUDICROUS that it was suggested we unsoldered this to physically remove it. The company attempted to keep possession of my diamond less ring until I threatened to contact the police. They are at-fault and know it which is why they went through their insurance company, but not interested in taking the loss despite their poor work causing the issue twice.
Please think before purchasing here, this issue could've been prevented with better workmanship or at least fixed by replacing...
Read moreI scheduled an appointment with Janell nearly two months ago for permanent anklets as a Mother’s Day gift. The appointment was confirmed for 5/3 at noon. We had already picked out our chains and Janell had engraved stainless steel charms for us. Leading up to the appointment, we exchanged numerous messages through their online site and via text.
On the day of the appointment, we were in the area early and decided to stop by when the jewelry store opened at 10 a.m. to see if we could be serviced sooner. I messaged Janell to let her know we were there and rang the doorbell several times over a 10–15 minute period with no response. A sign on the door said the store was closed from 5/1 to 5/3. I sent a photo of the sign to Janell and waited for a reply.
While waiting, I called every jeweler in the area and luckily found someone else who could help us just after noon. Janell finally replied at 11:39 a.m. saying she was there and working in the back. I did not respond.
I understand my appointment was at noon, but Janell’s instructions were clear: ring the doorbell upon arrival and ask for her. This wasn't the first red flag—there were several times I had to follow up on messages she didn’t respond to. Despite my doubts, I gave them a chance. We drove over 40 minutes for this appointment, and the lack of communication and professionalism was extremely disappointing. I’ve since heard from others who’ve had similar experiences.
I would not recommend this business and will not return. Very poor...
Read moreI had a diamond engagement ring sized and 2 gold bands modified to fit the engagement ring. I didn't get the rings back on the promised date, but I was okay with that, as I can only imagine how busy the jeweler must have been. (Christmas holidays) Mrs. Janell O'Halloran, was very kind and very helpful with the choices that I made. I am extremely pleased with the work that was done. The only reason I did not give them a 5 star rating is because of the website communication. There was not a telephone number on my the work order ticket, that I was given, so I had to use the website's email to inquire about the completion date of my rings. I did not receive a response to my email. I finally used Google to find the store's number. The overall service and the fantastic customer service will definitely be my...
