Cashman's Comics — Local services in Bay City

I had heard great things about this place so I, being a comic book lover, went here to check it out. Although it is a small place that can become claustrophobic if it gets too packed (it wasn't packed at all when I went), it has tons of comics spanning practically every genre possible. The owner was very welcoming, as was Petey, and told me about the specials going on, which were great deals. If I had enough money, I would have probably bought all his tales from the crypt comics that day lmfao. But all in all, this is a great local comic store for fans of all ages to check out. I’ve been coming back here for 20+ years. It’s the greatest store that I had the luck of living real close by growing up. Majority of my comics in my collection are from this very store. Plenty of product to dive into and get lost in. With all that being said, I think the store really needs a remodel both visually and in regards to product. Key issue’s/Gems need to be properly displayed, improved product organization, and bring back Magic the gathering product! Even if it’s just bulk cards, anything! Hands-down, one of the best comic books stores I've ever been to. I'm not saying I've had problems anywhere else, but John is awesome. When I showed interest in a particular series, he tracked down the back issues and even found a poster that he had been given for the store that he included when I picked up my issues. He knows his inventory, and his suppliers, so that if he has it in the store, he can have it in your hands within minutes; and if he can't do that, he'll have it for you in a week or so.
