Mitsukoshi is by far my favorite store at Epcot, and maybe even my favorite one on Walt Disney World property. Every employee here is as kind and helpful as you could ever want and they all seem to genuinely love most of the work they are doing. The Pick a Pearl group is an especially rambunctious group that really put on a show for all guests in the area.
The store is divided into multiple sections, showcasing and selling all kinds of Japanese wares ranging from Pokémon, to Gundam, to kimono, to cookwares, to sake. If possible, take the time to strike up a conversation with one of the employees helping you. He collects Pokémon cards and wanted the Godzilla cards so we wanted them put aside because we weren’t done shopping he wanted to get a Godzilla figurine but the girl didn’t want to put aside the cards saying that she can’t hold anything that I had to pay for it first. I was not asking her to hold it for a half hour I just wanted to buy more stuff for my son after that ordeal I almost walked away from the whole thing and really didn’t want to buy anything because of that but it was my sons birthday and I didn’t want to disappoint him. It's my favorite of the merchandise-related...
