Had lunch and what an amazing experience. So much better than last time. From food to service to portion size were all much better. Love this restaurant. They even gave our kids homemade origami of Pikachu and Mickey Mouse. I highly recommend.

Let me start by saying our family loves this restaurant and it pains me to give this place anything less than 5 stars but the last two visits have not been 5 star experiences.
Last night we had a late reservation (850pm) and were seated right away with no delays in a restaurant that did not appear to be too busy. Being seated timely was the last thing done in a timely manner. Our server was so bad that it really took away from the meal. The server was slow, forgetful, and clumsy. The server could not get the order correct and would forget parts of the order each time to the point we could only request one item at a time and even when we did that she still would forget. We had to order my daughters drink 8 separate times and my wife’s cocktail 5 times. She also failed after asking 9 times to get a pair of kids chopsticks. Refills were pretty much nonexistent and after dropping a salad all over my place setting, she brought me another yet failed to clean up the mess…which I ended up doing myself. When it came time for the bill she told us 5 times that gratuity was not included and provided us all the ways to pay it, as it was not included….gratuity was not included. You can pay the gratuity on the card or in cash, because gratuity was not included. Not included.
The chef on the other had was amazing, friendly, funny, and is someone who we have had cook for us on prior visits. He was great and really saved some of the experience of this expensive Disney dinner. The food was terrific, kids had chicken dinners while my wife and I had steak and shrimp with a side of scallops. The food was tasty and cooked perfectly. This was a nice change as on our last visit the food was not tasty and the chicken was not cooked well and was seemed almost to be a bad ingredient. I’ve noticed since the pandemic poultry has not been good for some reason.
Overall we will return for another meal as this is a family favorite. The food was good, the service was ok, and the server was so bad that it left a lasting memory/inside joke with my family. I still ...
Read moreThis was the first time going to a Disney restaurant and I ended up getting served CROSS-CONTAMINATED food after having informed the hibachi cook AND manager of my shellfish allergy and was assured I’d be accommodated, by my meal being cooked first. Everything was fine, right up until when I was finishing up my meal. My throat began itching, then I had trouble breathing - I had fluid building up in my lungs and my throat was closing a bit!! Only later did I realize that the sushi roll they cooked before my meal - which she REFUSED to answer what it was and simply said she’d “clean the spatula” - was a volcano roll, which had scallops, a type of SHELLFISH! I was absolutely terrified and was in SHOCK after I was assured twice that I’d be fine. I had to call the manager again as I was in a hurry to leave and find some Benadryl before it got worse - but he didn’t ask how it happened, he just offered me WATER! I quickly paid my bill and left before finishing all my meal to try and leave and make it to a pharmacy in time, as all the shops in the park as well as first aid had closed. It go so bad and scary that I had to flag down a security guard halfway to the exit and they called for paramedics to examine me and see if they had Benadryl or something else to help me. Unfortunately, they only offered to send me to the hospital since they didn’t have Benadryl in pill form - only IV. But thankfully at that same moment a girl came with 2 pills of Benadryl from the gift shop and shortly after taking it I immediately started feeling better - but shortness of breath and wheezing persisted and still do as I write this the day after. I complained to guest services before leaving and they were shocked since this “never happens at Disney” - well IT DID!!! It ruined the end to a great day and made me fear for my life, when all I wanted was a nice dinner. Never AGAIN will I go to this restaurant and perhaps any other Disney restaurant as they were clearly NEGLIGENT and have yet to do more than refund our meals to help correct this great inconvenience and scare they caused me!! Read moreThey Messed up my food order. Plain and simple.
As the server brought out the trays of proteins, I noticed that the they only brought out 1 tray of shrimp, and they gave that to the child at the end of the table. They ended up giving me a partial order of beef and everyone else ended up with extra chicken.
It wasn’t until the very end when the chef’s started to clean up where I started questioning where the rest of my order was.
I let the chef know that my order was not fulfilled, that I was missing my whole order of shrimp!
The chef even asked if I ordered shrimp which I did, which is when she proceeded to clean rather than make my dish. The Chef understood that I was missing my order but only decided to do something about it after I mentioned something the second time. Which is when the chef called over the waitress.
The waitress apologized but they ended up making the rest of my order in the back.
Meanwhile, all of the other patrons had already finished their meals and started to put their left overs in their to go containers.
In between all this, they ended up asking all of the other families if they had wanted dessert, except for my party of 2.
Teppanyaki is about the experience! And I ended up getting the wrong side of that experience today.
I did not come to a teppanyaki restaurant to pay $40 to have my food made in the back.
When the food had finally come out, I had told them to put it in a to go container, because everyone else had already finished or packed their meals and I was the last one around with food.
Overall not a great experience. Lack of attention to food order, ignored for dessert, and just overall embarrassed.
Will not be coming back to this restaurant...
