Germany Pavilion — Attraction in Bay Lake

The Germany Pavilion at Epcot is a magical Bavarian village brought to life, complete with charming architecture, lively music, and enough bratwurst and beer to make your heart (and stomach) sing! If you’re looking for an authentic taste of Germany and a warm, festive atmosphere, this is the place to be.

As soon as you step into the pavilion, it’s like entering a storybook. The quaint cobblestone streets, colorful timber-framed buildings, and iconic clock tower set the scene perfectly. Every detail, from the flower boxes on the windows to the bustling market square, makes you feel like you’ve been whisked away to a picturesque German town.

Now, let’s talk about the food—because it’s the real star here. Biergarten Restaurant is a dining experience like no other. The all-you-care-to-enjoy buffet features German classics like schnitzel, sauerkraut, pretzel rolls, and of course, bratwurst. The cherry on top? Live oompah band performances that make you want to grab a stein and dance along. The communal seating also adds a fun, social element to your meal.

For a quicker bite, the Sommerfest quick-service stand is a hidden gem. Their jumbo pretzels and bratwurst are perfect for enjoying on the go, especially when paired with a refreshing pint of German beer. And don’t miss the caramel treats at Karamell-Küche—the caramel popcorn alone is worth the trip!

The shopping here is just as fun as the food. You’ll find everything from hand-painted steins and cuckoo clocks to holiday ornaments and delicious chocolates. Pro tip: Stock up on Ritter Sport bars—they’re a fan favorite!

The Germany Pavilion is also home to some of the friendliest cast members, who bring an extra layer of authenticity to the experience. Their warm smiles and traditional attire make you feel right at home, even if you’re miles away from Europe.

This is officially one of my favorite pavilions in Epcot! Not only do they have amazing Brats, pretzels, and sweets, but they excel in customer service.

My wife and I were here on our honeymoon and got caught up watching Illuminations at the end of the night, and didn’t realize that the stores had closed. It was our last day there and my wife’s coworkers really wanted her to bring back German chocolate. Long story short, I asked a cast member if there was still anywhere I could get the chocolate and explained the situation to him. He said “wait here” tracked down a store manager, unlocked the store, let me in to pick out my chocolate and gave me a couple recommendations, and then let me have the chocolate for free because they had already closed the registers!

I was absolutely blown away. WDW cast members have always been amazing to me, but this was just unbeleivably above and beyond. Thank you so much German Pavillion for helping to provide a memorable honeymoon for my wife and I. I won’t forget...

There offerings where more than what the disney experience app said there would be. Atmosphere was good, music performance very cozy, server very attentive, and the salmon, chicken, meatballs, meatloaf and other meat offerings tasted really good, the desserts cant be missed and maye the price point looks high for the only two offerings on the Disney experience app seem low, believe me they have enough food offerings for any pallette.

And more on its uniqueness, i have shellfish allergies, and nothing on their menu affected me, so if you are like me, feel free to enjoy everything they have to offer...

As an added tip, i even talked to Mgrs and chefs, yeah Im that curious about everything. And the chefs told me every now and then they modify their offerings and even bring different meat options that sadly are Not updated in the Disney experience app...

So go ahead and give them a try... You will not be...
