• As an update to the owner's response: I understand that there are many different needles, but I am a pharmacist also so I know what information to give. If you ask your staff member who answered the phone, I gave them the exact information of the name of the product, what gauge, length, what the box looked like and even package size. It's not a matter of having lots of different needles, I was looking for ONE specific kind to special order for my dog which your staff member could not provide me with the information for because she said and I quote "I asked someone and she said to give you information, you need to come in with the prescription." It was only when I requested to speak to your pharmacist that I was able to receive this information. This kind of service turns customers away. And just cause Costco charges a membership, the price wouldn't be 5x cheaper. They special ordered the item and I picked it up today for $8.99*

Was looking for a specific BD needle to order for my dogs IV hydration therapy and called Jerry's since they are a medical supply store and pharmacy. Received the worst customer service while trying to find out if they could 1) even order the item and 2) ballpark range of how much it would cost. They told me I had to come in with the prescription to let me know this information. In times of COVID I find this hard to believe that you can't even give this general information. I explained I was calling to check first because other medical supply stores were out of stock and I had a hard time finding it but they said to give me information I would have to come in. As a pharmacist myself, I asked to speak to the pharmacist because I knew there was no law preventing them from providing this information given that I gave very specific information, and explained it was for my dog, for his IV fluid therapy. Of course as soon as I speak to the pharmacist they were able to give me the information. But then told me it would cost ballpark $40-45 for the box. Which is ridiculous considering even the vet was charging $30. I called Costco pharmacy next who told me its $8.99!!! Talk about a markup... Maybe Jerry's just didn't want my business. I love the personal service that is provided by the entire staff at Jerry's. You cannot get this type of service from mail order or big box chains. I don't want to be just a number as you are in big chains. In Jerry's they take time to go over your prescription with you, they make sure you are aware of drug interactions. They know you, your history, they care! They offer so much more than personalized service. They have a variety of health care products, gift section, home delivery, and the staff does it all with a friendly welcoming environment. Some people don't understand insurance, are nervous of new medications, or maybe have to buy a prosthetic and want personal service - someone who cares about you as a person - NOT A NUMBER WHO IS JUST A PROFIT AS YOU ARE IN BIG CHAINS. I have personally witnessed the care they exhibit when people come in who are buying products for relatives who are in end stages of life and how the poor person is choking on the lump in their throat at the thought of loosing a loved one. They take the time to comfort and help the person in an extremely kind and compassionate manner while respecting their privacy and emotional state. You might think that it doesn't apply to you. But ask yourself this - if you were sick, or a relative who was sick and in need - would you want personal service with someone who pays attention or would you want to trust mail order or some chain who doesn't know who you are? Me - I choose the family feel of a store where you matter. For me, my family and friends who I have referred over the years Jerry's is the pharmacy for us. They offer free vitamins to kids, have health clinics, take time to talk to you and show you the care and respect you deserve. Take the time to visit, walk around the store. You will be...

I used to appreciate this store. I think they sold the store. It just isn't the same. I had Hudackos as my pharmacy but, they went out of business. That really was a shame. I chose Jerry's to fill my prescriptions. The pharmacist Peter is very nice. He spoke to me about a change in the color of one of my prescriptions. He was very nice and I felt like I was in good hands. I had a prescription that I was owed a few. I was told that it would be there a few days later. I have stopped in, I have called and I am feeling like I am getting nowhere with this. My RX plan payed for a certain amount. I didn't get that amount. The people that work there at the register are nice people. Peter is very helpful and you can tell that he cares. But, I don't know the others who aren't very helpful. Telling me that " we will call you when it comes in" doesn't help me. I have called and I was on hold for ten minutes. I just want to know when the remainder of my prescription is coming in. Is it ordered? It's a very common medication so when will it be in stock? I like the items that are sold here. Their card selection is very good. I don't want a bad relationship with the new people.
