I purchased a blade msr there. I was told that it is a awesome helicopter, does everything that i want, you can crash it several times and not have anything major break. The breaking part isnt the issue here. You can go in there and open any box you want. Nothing is sealed. I got mine charged up and trimmed correctly. Started too fly it. I got about 6ft everything shut off and it crashed breaking the balance bar, a rotor, landing gear and scratched it up. This is the fourth time i have went in and they remember me each time. And seem too be friendly. But very unhelpful and unorganized. I went back that same day of my purchase and explained what had happened. And they told me too contact blade that they will fix the issue being i have a "lifetime" waranty. Blade refused. They also told me i had too pay for shipping and handling to and from. I have ordered parts and left my contact info at razor hobbies for the third time and everything i go back there they are clueless and say well let me look too see if i have that. Yet they can never seem too find it. And never tell me that they ordered it. Originally they ordered and were supose too call me when it came in. That had never happen. They never once offered too look or refund my purchase. I wil not be back but i will continue too spread the word. This is rediculous. I will for now on order everything online or in a acctually franchise. Not a mom and pop shop were they can chose if they help you or not and treat customers like this. I even told them the only reason im ordering landing gear is too sell it. Then she walks back too the office and is yelling out too me because it appeared that i was going too ask...
Read moreNo longer a hobby shop! Now they are a "Hobby Manufacturer". I get it, you have to go where the money is to stay in business. At the very least it would be nice to have a place for people to buy spare parts, you already have all the right contacts and accounts in place.
Another thing you could get into is 3D printing! There is NO local business that supports the 3D printing hobby. This could be a HUGE market for you if done right. Plus you could also manufacture your own machine and upgrade parts for various popular printers. I'd love to help!
How about DIY CNC machines such as routers, lasers, etc. Huge opportunity for that hobby too! You could start a maker space where people could bring you their designs and ideas, then you could cut it out or 3D print...
Read moreThis place is great! My wife and I loved the vibe of the staff, the family like environment was refreshing yet still very youthful. They had a healthy selection of parts, knowledgeable and helpful repair tech, and their mix of bmx, skateboards, and rc's is down right awesome. They've got a track out back that needs some upkeep so for the time being it's free to tool around on. Can't beat it! Thanks for the help guys and enjoy that...
