Brooklyn Pizzeria — Restaurant in Baytown

It was not busy, a few people eating already. I paid at 12:50 and received my food at 1:16. I ordered two slices of pizza and a chicken Alfredo pasta. A small salad came with the pasta and that came a few minutes after I ordered. I have been wanting to check this place out for months now and it's out of my way so today I figured I'd take a chance and drive 25 minutes to see how it was. The customer service was basic. Nothing extraordinary. The place is very quiet as well. I don't know if they cook it completely fresh and it took almost 30 minutes for it come out but there were no other walk ins so not sure why the wait. Maybe calling ahead would be best. The pizza was good, the pasta however not so much. The chicken was the texture of cartilage, not sure how to explain it. It was "bitey" not good. I tasted several to make sure it was not just one. The noodles & sauce were okay but nothing special. The temperature was hot. The garlic bread was perfect. Not over baked, just right, good flavor. I am no way at all impressed, despite all the positive reviews this place has received, I find Spanky's Pizza or Pipeline Grill's Pizza a better choice for pizza.

The pizza here has more cheese than anything, might as well call it cheesy bread because all you can really taste is the cheese. Aleast at Pipeline Grill, I can see all my toppings and actually taste them, also can see my pizza being made in front of me as well.

Wings here aren't really impressive either, reminded me of Domino's wings by the buffalo sauce and size. Have nothing more to say about it.

I might reconsider this place with getting a non-pizza item,but if this is what you call pizza, I might as well call frozen pizza...

I normally only review when the food is amazing and or the service. With that being said I had a calzone a classic and two strawberry cheesecakes delivered last night. And ate half a piece of pizza and immediately had indigestion and felt bloated, so I didn't eat anymore about an hour later I start feeling woozy and start vomiting everything up that was last night at around 9pm and I am still sitting at my desk with a bag in my lap. I tried getting a manager or general manager on the phone this morning and was told to call back after 2pm, and I told him it was from food poisoning and he said call after 2, so the potential for today's menu of tainted whatever could be avoided if someone would have...
