I've had Boba many times & different venues...Tea City's Boba... is hands down the Best Boba Tea, I've had so far here. The prices are very reasonable.
I had the Oolong Milk Tea with Regular Boba ( Tapioca Pearls). It was served sealed, just pop the seal with the pointy end of the straw, like it's authentically served.
( Most places do not serve Boba this way...I love it )
My husband had a Pineapple Slushie with Cherry Juice Bursting Pearls. HE LOVED TEA CITIES SLUSHY. He is very particular about his slushies, he likes the consistency to be smooth and each taste be full of flavor, but not overly syrupy either. If the syrup falls to the bottom before he finishes leaving the top with unflavored ice...he wont go back.
He said it was smooth and well mixed, kept its consistency the entire time, and really liked the bursting boba.
We tried a snack flavor I haven't had before...just a box of Macha Pocky, nothing crazy. It was good. I've had Chocolate, Vanilla, and Strawberry Pocky but never Macha Flavored... i like macha so figured I'd like it. I did.
The entire total was super reasonable.
The atmosphere is styled for teens, I would say. It wasn't over the top or subtle, the seatings were comfortable.
We plan to go back and try Tea Cities Thai sandwich to compare with other Thai sandwiches we've had. They also had macaron cookies for anyone interested.
I would...
Read moreAs a business owner, customer service and professionalism matter, especially when addressing concerns. Unfortunately, this situation was not handled correctly from the start. When my daughter realized she had left her punch card, she did the right thing by calling to inquire about it. Instead of receiving basic assistance, she was met with dismissiveness and excuses.
The employee she spoke with did not communicate clearly or offer a solution. Instead, they stated that there was “no way to tell which punch card was hers” and that “they throw them away.” If that’s what she was told, why would she come back for something that was allegedly discarded? Now, the owner is responding with a different version of the story, saying the card was left on the counter or register. Had that been communicated correctly, this wouldn’t even be an issue.
At the end of the day, this is not about the punch card—it’s about how customers are treated. Instead of making excuses, a sincere apology and better communication could have easily resolved this. But based on this poor experience and lack of professionalism, my daughter and I will no longer be supporting this...
Read moreI've always had great service here, and the drinks have been fantastic every time. However, today around 2:41 pm, I grabbed my usual Almond Milk tea and a Moonlight Tea, and gave the lady my punch card. After receiving my cash back, I didn't check to see if my card was returned. Once home, I realized it wasn't. I called the store and the lady told me that any punch cards left behind are thrown away at the end of the day. I mentioned I had my receipt and asked if there was a way to get it back, but she said there's no way to verify it was mine and that it was only 3 punches. I was surprised by the lack of resolution, especially since it was the employee's mistake to not return it. I've been a loyal customer since high school, but after this experience, I won't be...
