Let me start by saying my daughter loved the park until today. We purchased our tickets online for the first time this weekend. We arrived as the park opened and waited in line, as we expected. After being in line for 3 hours we witnessed a young man pass out from heat. Now while that is very bad the real problem is all of the people that purchased tickets online wait in a different line (the same line the young man was in) and when the park reaches capacity they only let in people as people leave. That part makes sense. What doesn’t is that they would let people buy tickets at the gate but let NONE of the online ticket purchases through the gate. You cannot get a refund, it’s clearly stated online and at the park. If the park had shown a slight amount of empathy we all would have been in a little better mood. When people started getting irate the employees seemed to not care at all. When the young man passed out from waiting in an unnecessary timely line they seemed more annoyed than concerned. They got my money but I will not let that happen again ever. If you decide to go to this EXTREMELY POOR MANAGED establishment make sure you DO NOT BUY TICKETS ONLINE!! Hopefully at least one person sees this and saves themselves from the nightmare we went...
Read moreI have been taking my family to Pirate's Bay for almost 10 years now and tonight we attended the Back to school bash for the first time and it was awesome!! The park hours was extended and all of the water activities shut down around 9pm and then everyone gathered at the wave pool for the fireworks show and it was a great way to close out the night and summer as school starts back in a couple of days so son was so excited and we both enjoyed ourselves and each other!! This is my preferred water park because it is very kid friendly and pleasant!! Its also great to have birthday parties for the kids and just a fun and chill family outing!! The food prices are good!! They used to allow coolers inside with snacks, food and drinks but now theres a limit to the cooler size and they charge a $20 cooler fee to bring it in the park which isnt worth it in my opinion. But other than that...
Read morePerfect for the whole family! I go almost every day and my 6 year old nephew has a blast as well. It has a lazy river (about a 5-7 minute cycle), 8-10 water slides (though two are closed down the season of '22), a 5ft deep wave pool, an American Ninja Warrior type set up, and 3 decently sized children's areas. The food is decent and fairly priced (especially for it being a waterpark). We can get an order of mini corn dogs (has 8), a burger, and a basket of fries for about $10.
I have a season pass which allows me to stand in a much shorter line as well as get in 10 minutes earlier than the general public. Which means I grab a table, put my sunscreen on, and am in the river before most people are even through the gate. On special days I can also bring in a...
