DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!!!!!
My experience was dreadful and a complete headache over the course of several months. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME with this company. And the worst part is, they did absolutely nothing to make it right.
Here's my story.....
I came in to shop around for some bedroom furniture. Gal who helped us was pleasant and helpful. We bought a set and as I was making the purchase in store, I asked about financing and she told me it was too late to do so and acted like it was a big pain in the neck. They didn't even offer or ask or present that as an option during checkout. How incredibly poor on their part for a furniture store. So I reluctantly made the purchase in full... They then said they would be calling us in 7-10 days for delivery (we live in Lincoln). Well I waited FOURTEEN days and got no phone call so finally I made the move myself. They said that one item has been in the store the whole time just sitting there and the other piece of furniture is back-ordered for another THREE weeks. "Oh they didn't tell you that when you checked out?" NOOOOOO - they sure as hell did not ... super annoyed ... "Okay well we'll give you a call next week to get this up to you in the meantime then."
I wait another week. No phone call from Ashley Furniture.
I call again the following Monday and have to wait until Thursday because their Tuesday delivery day was already full. So four weeks and three phone calls later, the first item arrives.
I wait again and they finally let me know when the second item is in store. We work out a date for delivery. They deliver it and when I take it out of the box, the furniture is COMPLETELY BUSTED!! It looks though it got dropped, HARD. Broken beyond repair. Joints were busted, ball bearings are missing, and drawers are completely out of alignment from when it got dropped. The wood is cracked in several places as well.
So now I'm infuriated and on my fourth call to Ashley Furniture. I ask to speak to a manager because this has just gotten completely ridiculous. "Jenny" tells me they have to order a new one and it will be another three weeks for delivery without any other nurturing of the situation. The customer service in handling all of this from start to finish was god awful on their part and I will NEVER EVER shop there again and I will sure as hell make sure my family and friends don't either. When the third delivery attempt was finally made, the guys who dropped off the "new" piece were absolutely horrified at the condition of the last piece and embarrassed that something was delivered in such condition. They couldn't believe it. I was not refunded a dime or taken care of in any way to make up for the incredible headache with this whole thing. I will never shop there again and had I known this would all happen, I would not have wasted a minute stepping through their doors. AND NEITHER SHOULD YOU!! I hope they lose business and learn how to get their priorities in line to take care of the people that take...
   Read moreJust had a horrible experience when purchasing a mattress from this store. Mattress was delivered 2 weeks before the base. Not really a big deal cause they had to order the base, but when trying to contact to ask how I can get the old mattress hauled away the woman I spoke to got very upset thst I wanted the mattress hailed away when I already had a delivery in a couple weeks.... I had to repeat that I know this but when they come how do I get the old mattress hauled away and she yelled at me saying there is nothing about it on the ticket. I told her again that when I visited the store a week ago I was told it could be an option for an extra fee so why cant this be set up now? Very angrily she finally said that when the delivery ppl call right before the delivery, I can set it up then... felt like it was was pulling teeth to get any answer on such a simple question and her attitude was very unprofessional. Setting up or at least getting information on how to have your old mattress removed after purchasing a $2000 order should not be so difficult. Should have took the warning when it took 20 min for a salesman to even notice we were in the mattress section...

We barely said yes we do when she walked on and started talking to another couple. Another person said we should look around the store and see if we see anything we liked. We did that and then went back to the desk while waiting another 10 mins for the lady to get off the phone. She did ask if we were being helped and I said well the lady we talked to walked away from us to help someone else. She looked puzzled and said someone was bringing a mattress up for us to look at. That making no sense at all then two guys walked in they said something about the store at the other end of the mall. It was a part of their store. Things were broken and thrown all around the place and no one was there. We left. I will NEVER go back to that store ever. If the customer service were good I would have bought a bed and it would be set up tonight as it is they lost a...
