I have no idea how this place has 5 stars unless the ratings were given by the owners and/or employees. What a terrible experience. There is nothing authentic about this Mexican Restaurant other than the authentic Mexican music playing. The two waitresses we're as white/caucasian as could be, to begin with. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but being seated and served by Mexican employees is part of the experience in Authentic Mexican Restaurants. So is being able to place my order in Spanish. Not here, though. The chips brought to us before we placed our order were either store-bought, or purchased in bulk, but we're definitely not made in the restaurant and served warm and crispy like we are used to from Authentic Mexican Restaurants. In fact, they were STALE! The "salsa" was another disappointment. It was like red water with a few diced onions and cilantro floating on top. There was no substance to it at all and it was nearly tasteless. The chips before the meal are usually a treat. Not here, though. Okay, now the food. In one word... Yuck. I ordered what I think was number 18b on the menu. It was a fajita dish with steak, chicken, and shrimp, served with a side of refried beans, Spanish rice, guacamole, sour cream, and a tiny lettuce and tomato salad. The steak in the fajita was chewy - likely because they use low-quality beef. The chicken was fine, but the shrimp was over-cooked and still had the tails on. I'm not used to having to eat with my fingers/hands when eating Mexican food - unless we're talking about a taco. The seasoning on the fajita dish was okay. The waitress warned me not to touch the handle of the cast iron dish the fajitas were served on, but it wasn't hot at all. I grabbed the handle with my hand and held on to it as I expressed my disappointment that it wasn't hot at all and my food was not sizzling as it should have been. Now on to the sides. The guacamole was a HUGE disappointment, as it had absolutely no flavor at all. I absolutely love eating guacamole at Mexican restaurants. Not this one. The refried beans had a bit of a burnt flavor to them, but I was able to at least eat those. The Spanish rice was cold, though, and tasted like it came out of a box - not authentic Spanish rice at all. To say I'll never return to this restaurant would be an understatement. If you decide to eat there, good luck to you, and I hope your experience is...

Lmao 🤣......OH also both "white" waitresses are Fluent in both English and Spanish!!! Just because there is no accent when they speak English don't assume you know what languages they speak! Read moreMy wife and I ate there for lunch today. It was the worse Mexican food we have ever had. To start the chips were stale and the pop tasted off. I ordered a chimichanga and my wife order a taco salad that we could not finish because they were terrible. 20 minutes after eating I started to feel sick and I’m writing this review from my couch hoping I didn’t get food poisoning. Avoid this restaurant at all cost and if you want excellent Mexican food go across the street...
