Would give zero stars but in order to leave a review have to have atleast one. Salsa was good. Looked like we hot the bottom of the bag for chips as they were all crumbs. Should have been an indication of what would follow. Ordered some queso when the waitress took our drink order and took about 10 minutes to get it and my husband had to speak up so they knew what table it went too. Ordered chicken tenders with fries and a side of macaroni for our son. Came out as 2 separate meals. My husband ordered a taco salad that looked like mush. I wouldn't even feed it to my dog. And a chalupa that was mainly lettuce. (We got charged extra for sour cream & lettuce that we never asked to be on it). He ate the shell only because the taco salad didn't look appetizing. My burrito California was on point. But my 2 carne asada taco with cheese and lettuce only was too difficult for them. First time they came out they had lettuce, cheese, tomato and onions on them so I sent them back. 15 minutes later 2 more come out and they only have cheese on them. 3rd time was a charm getting them right, but the meat was cold by the time I actually got to eat them. We didnt end up paying for the taco salad or kids macaroni, but after we left I noticed we got over charged almost $10 so we may as well have paid for the taco salad and macaroni. First and last time going there. We wont be back.
After calling and speaking to the owner, they made it right in more...
Read moreFirst time here, we were seated quickly brought us chips and salsa and took our drink order. Returning with our drinks seen we were still looking over the menu offered to give us more time, we agreed and she left and came back in a short while. Wife ordered and I had not seen what I was looking for the waitress showed me they had it and I asked if real spicy and was told it was not real spicy, I decided I would try it anyway. We reserved our food quickly it was was fresh and hot but it was lacking spice, my wife said her burrito had a good flavor little spice and I had the Shrimp Ala Diabla and it was the mildest one I have ever had. So as far as service very good, good clean restaurant, food has good flavor just no spice. With my food I love hot spicy food but I also want to taste the flavor then have the heat come on. You have the flavor now if you can make a section on your menu for spicy version of some of your dishes you would rate 5 Stars with me. Because of the flavor your food has we will try again but if you can't bring on some heat I know we won't be back again so here's hoping you...
Read moreWe don't get to Beatrice often and decided to give this place a try.
We were seated and the staff was very attentive. No wait for drinks and they answered the questions we had.
I ordered the lunch portion of the steak fajitas and my husband ordered one of the burritos. Speaking for myself the portion was perfect, I don't have much of an appetite (it was about 1/2 of the portion that you'd get anywhere else). His burrito on the other hand was pitifully small, it was not off of the smaller portion lunch menu and would have needed to be b 2-3x more to be a dinner portion for anyone with a normal appetite.
We tried their salsa and their unusual bean dip, ordered a side of poblano sauce and a side of queso. It's sad to say the queso was the most flavorful part of the meal. There was little to no seasoning on anything. I'm not talking Spice, in talking basic salt/pepper/etc.
This is one of those places that we are glad we gave it a try, but we likely won't return.
That being said, this is our opinion, the patronage increased as we were there. So I'm sure some others love them. It just...
