Miguel's Fresh Jerky — Local services in Beatty

I stopped at the trailer just South of Pahrump; I was craving jerky and had been wanting to try it for some time. I bought the three bags for $25 - one peppered, one Ring of Fire, and one other flavor (forget which). The peppered could have been a little spicier, but be warned about the Ring of Fire. They're not messing around with that one, and I'm sure I'll discover the true Ring of Fire in the morning 😥💩. Awesome flavors, overall. I also bought the big jar of Habañero-stuffed olives (which are amazing, addictive...and probably potentially lethal to your gut bacteria). They make the BEST Martinis! Also got a jar of Habañero pickled garlic (sending a trend here?). They taste great, but should be (to me) just a little firmer in texture. I'll definitely continue to go back and try new flavors, but I will always walk out with a jar...

When you come in off of 95 and see the signs for jerky, pull in. Sure, I just stopped to use the restroom and figured it'd be polite to buy some jerky. But man if I'd opened that jerky before I was deep in Death Valley, I'd have bought way more! Excellent jerky in a wide variety. If the other items in the store are made by the same people, I trust them to be delicious as well.

Update: I came back in March 2024 and three mornings in a row the door was locked. I'm sad I won't be getting any jerky (especially after hyping it up to my friend) and I hope...

Stopped by on a whim on our drive from Las Vegas to Washington state. We stopped because we saw the roaming donkeys wandering around and my family wanted to get a closer look and while there we wandered in the store and we bought a pack of dried, sweetened papaya and chili with lemon pistachios and it was all so good!
