Some of their products are overpriced, especially since they took away their 40% coupon.

I’ve purchased 3 Christmas trees there & every single year I’m replacing over half of the light bulbs. I don’t store them in a bag either. I store them standing up, so there’s no reason I should be replacing bulbs at that rate. So, I’ve stopped purchasing their trees.

Customer service is ok. There are sometimes employees that will acknowledge you & ask if you need anything, especially if the manager is around.

The cashiers are usually very friendly and will hold conversation with me, so that’s why I gave it a 3.

Personal opinion on Hobby Lobby: They have monopolized the arts & crafts world and they are slowly doing the same with home decor. And that’s because they can make their stuff so cheaply, which takes away from small businesses who have anything similar to them. All around bad experience at this location, I went into return an item that was not used, but because the packaging was open, Macie! is her name customer service representative who has no customer service whatsoever. She definitely needs proper training. And better help at this location because she was going to send me 30 minutes out of my way to a different hobby lobby because she couldn’t return my item when I called the other location. I took our boy to Hobby Lobby to get some paints to help him build his first plastic model truck. I needed deep blue and glossy orange spray paints for the color combos on the truck body. I also went ahead and got an assortment of model paints in a pack for painting all the smaller parts like the motor, springs, shocks, and other parts. It's not like it was when I built models over 25 years ago, or maybe longer! Now they have to keep it all under lock and key, you have to get someone to unlock it and pick your paints.
