UPDATE: Complaint was addressed by customer service. Store is now claiming something different and no one is answering the gaps in their current version of the story. They refused to fix my phone or replace it with the exact same phone. Their excuse doesn't explain how/why they damaged my phone. They offered to reimburse a portion of the cost of a new phone, which is my only option at this point. Please, for the love of God, DO NOT take any device to this store. They couldn't tell the truth if their life depended on it. Initially the store's only option was for me to pay to fix the damage they caused, or they would remove the new charging port, put the broken one back in and refund my money. I had them put the old port back in so I could get my money back. I called the number Asurion provided in the review response and that was on par with the service in the store. Don't worry though, someone will call contact me in 24-48 hours, but since I no longer have a functional phone, I can carry my laptop around with me and check it constantly to make sure I get this resolved ASAP. THANKS ASURION! I am going to assume they won't realize my phone doesn't work and will just try to call me and then close the case when I don't answer. We used Asurion for years when we had insurance through them. Rarely had issues, but apparently something has changed with the company. As per Samsung my phone was still under warranty and I should not have been charged for the charging port replacement. In all fairness, they fixed the charging problem, but damaged the screen. To be clear, the screen on my phone had no damage and worked perfectly before UBreak opened it to replace the charging port. I get it back, it doesn't work. So initially they repaired the problem, it would charge when I got it back, but they damaged the phone and made it useless and they refuse to repair it unless I pay for their mistake. If your Samsung phone is less than a year old, don't accept their word that it is out of warranty, call Samsung direct. Better yet, avoid this place at all cost. I could have continued to wireless charge my phone, it was just inconvenient for me. Now I have a $1200 phone that's less than 6 months old that is absolutely useless.
My phone would alarm and would have an error when charging, (moisture detected), but had not been exposed to water. I brought it in and was told the Samsung 1 year warranty had expired, despite having received the phone brand new in December. The repair was not covered and I was charged just over $100. It only took about an hour and a half for the repair, but it was very close to closing time when I picked it up. I took it off maintenance mode, and left the store. About 20 minutes later I used my phone for the first time and it hesitated when I tried using the touch screen. I thought maybe it was my internet connection. Within a few minutes the only way to use the phone was with a stylus. The store was already closed. We called first thing the next morning and was told to drive over an hour back for them to look at it. After several hours we were told the screen just magically failed after they opened the phone to make a repair and that they would fix it, but we would be charged for the repair. They didn't find any water/moisture issues, just a failing charging port They opened my phone, the first time I tried to use it after they returned it, my phone did not work properly and they refuse to fix what they damaged. We had them put the original charging port back in and we are driving over an hour to pick up the phone. Third trip trying to get a 5 month old Samsung S22 functional. I agree with the prior post you break it, take it...
Read moreI want a refund, they did a horrible job on my phone and charged me almost 200.00 dollars. Went in for a screen protector replacement and came out with a new outside screen with no screen protector, and the indside screen protector full of bubbles on my Z-fold 3. They also chipped some of the paint of my phone and tried to blame me for it. My phone had one little scratch on the bottom right hand side and one scratch on the bottom right hand side of the outer screen and now it's full of scratches! The manager called me a lier and said my outside screen was full of cracks and Z-Fold 3's don't come with screen protectors! Do not! I repeat DO NOT! bring your devices to these people! My phone is worse than it was before I took.
Update: So the so called owner messaged me saying my outside screen was severely damaged lol that's funny to me, my outer screen had a very tiny crack that you couldn't see because it was in the black part/outer bezel and blended in, yes i know my phone had scratches on the bottom and top right hand corner nothing major. My screen was flawless other than the tiny crack and the OUTER SCREEN PROTECTOR coming up. Now they want to charge me to replace the inner screen to fix all the scratches they did and charged me 180.00 for nothing, which they admitted nothing is wrong with and they did a horrible job replace the screen protector the initial problem! Why would I ever bring my phone or anything else of mines to your horrible business? Let me give you some business advice when a customer pays you for a service and you do it wrong you don't argue with said customer and then admit your service is horrible! And tell your techs that Z-fold 3's come with outer screen protectors and inner screen protectors I talked to the Samsung reps and they said yes a screen protector should have been put on the outer screen if it has to be replaced free of charge btw! I hope Samsung takes away your right to work on their products your...
Read moreHave had nothing but what I feel as lies come from this business. Brought an iPad to them and paid the $60 to diagnose was told 3 days. When I dropped it off I was told it was probably a battery or something on the board and it should not be more than $150 and the $60 would come off of that. I called 4 days later because I had not heard from them. They diagnosed that they needed to put a new battery in and that when they do that the screen typically breaks so the price would be $295. I told them I should have been informed that before leaving the iPad because I was told no more than $150. I ended up speaking to a manager that said they would honor that price and if they couldn't fix it I would have the iPad back in the same condition that I dropped it off. I was told another 3 days to wait on the part and a day or two for the repair. I called at 5 days and was told it was not the battery so they were going to check the board. They did actually call me the next day and let me know that several of the boards were out and they would replace, and it should still fall under the $150 price since that is what they quoted. It was going to be another 3 days for the parts once again. Today I got the call that the board didn't repair it either so they have a non working iPad. I said sounds good. I would still like to pick up. They told me 30 minutes and they would have it ready. I told them we would grab it another day. A few minutes later I got a call from them telling me they would return the iPad but it would not have a battery because they could not put the battery back in because it might cause a lithium fire if it was punctured. So basically I have a trash iPad and if I wanted to try somewhere else to repair it would have no battery. Over all very disappointing. They have been 2/2 of not repairing things we brought to them, and have had very poor communication in...
