Paradise Wellness Med Spa — Local services in Beaumont

I have been putting this review off for a few weeks. I guess I needed a different massage experience to help me formulate my review for this one.

I had Trish. She was lovely. Customer service was great. However, the biggest issue I had and why the review isnt very good is due to time management. This is a big one for me, especially when you pay a higher price for a service.

My massage was for 12. I came at 11:50. Trish was running behind from her previous appointment and did tell me that (I appreciate the communication). I dont enter the room until 12:15, let alone get my treatment started until 12:18. I had the valentine's day special, so lots going on. Full body massage, essential oils and stones. There was lots of back and forth, moving around, towel, etc. I found a lot of time was taken away from the massage due to that. When the treatment is done with, the time is 12:53. By the time I finished getting dressed and leave to checkout, it's 1 pm. So that leaves me with an actual treatment time of only 35 minutes, when I paid for a 60 minute massage. Now, I have had enough massages in my life to understand there are a few minutes shaved off at the beginning and end of treatment. However, I thought a 35 minute treatment was pretty steep considering it was supposed to be an hour. So because she was running behind with her other appointment, my appointment got cut short.

Now, to be fair, I should have said something at the time. But honestly, at that point, I just wanted to go home and not have to complain or deal with anything else. The massage itself was okay, nothing amazing. It could have been better if she wasn't rushed, and that's what I do believe the whole issue boils down to: time management.

Would I go back? Most likely not.

Would I recommend the place? Sure. It's clean, relaxing vibes, lots of services, and friendly staff. But I left with a bad taste in my mouth and personally wouldn't come here again but someone else I guarantee would have a lovely experience, as you can see by the other reviews.

I had Zeo and laser facial. Facial tech was wonderful but Zeo injector was not so good. Devon Portier didn’t ask me what my goals were, which was my 11s. She decided to go rogue and ended up giving me injections in my forehead for a brow lift. I wear bangs and wasn’t desiring injections in my forehead. I don’t have much movement there. It caused me to have hooded eyes. Right one is huge and left eye has a new fold. I was disappointed with results and went back to discuss. Devon Portier didn’t offer me any solutions. She talked about what she could do next time but left me the same unless I wanted to pay more. I had already spent $500 and thought she should offer to help me after she disfigured me. I WILL NOT be going back. There are too many med spa injectors out there. And some good master injectors. They talk to you before a treatment instead of just doing what they want. Her pre- procedure chair side manor needs improving. Do yourself a favor and don’t just allow anyone to inject you or it can be a long time bearing the poor results. Full disclosure: I do work at this spa, however, I haven’t received a massage in YEARS because any massage therapist that I have ever used in the past hurt too bad and I just didn’t enjoy the experience. HOWEVER, the massage therapist here, Trish, is absolutely AMAZING! My back has been hurting for over a month, so I decided to go in on a day off and try Trish out. She felt my back and immediately told me EXACTLY where I was hurting at. By the end of the massage I was already feeling so much relief. This is the least amount of pain that I have been in. Trish is extremely knowledgeable of the body and what affects what, and just the right maneuvers. To be honest I didn’t even realize how much stress and tension I was carrying until after the massage. So, if you happen to be like me and haven’t enjoyed massages in the past, I would encourage you to give Trish a try, she definitely changed my mind, and was able to massage, relax and make a huge difference without causing me pain or being too hard during...
