I have been a customer at Amp since 2022.
Always a great experience, a good selection, and the employees are really nice. There are usually four to five friendly intake people when you walk in and at least six more filling orders. There is rarely a wait and I've come in to a back room with a lot of customers from time to time.
There is a large monitor in back showing who is next by initials and partial phone number. You dont sit around wondering like at say.....a hospital. You will be called out by first name so watch the board for when you are on deck and goimg up to bat.
Med patients - if there is a line you will be taken in first. They are very efficient and well staffed I never took more than fifteen minutes from walk in to walk out.
This is a no stress place. If you are new to all this they will help you, even assign a patient consultation employee to take you back. They have empty containers of the things they sell so you have more than a picture on a phone screen.
By front and back I mean there is a locked door from intake to dispensary. Front takes ID and med card, back is sales and order filling and payment.
Payment - AMP ONLY TAKES THESE THREE
Spendr is best and charges no fees
If you wonder why it's called Amplify you will get it the minute you walk in if you are into music.
Very nice well lit comfortable decor and emoloyees are encouraged to wear "pieces of flair" on their work wear and decorate the office a bit as well. 👍🤣🤣 I like that.
The place is SAFE, in over 50 visits there I never felt unsafe in the area or the store. Juat be careful in the parking lot because parking can be hectic, its up a hill, SNOW REMOVAL NEEDS IMPROVEMENT. There are a lot if spots but it...
Read moreI’m writing to express my disappointment with a recent experience at your dispensary regarding the refusal to accept my valid interim identification issued by the State of Ohio. I was informed by your staff that this form of ID is not acceptable—an assertion that is incorrect according to the guidelines established by the Ohio Division of Cannabis Control (DCC).
As someone thoroughly familiar with DCC regulations, I can confirm that a valid, state-issued interim driver’s license or ID card is an acceptable form of identification for verifying age and identity under Ohio law. Specifically, the DCC states that dispensaries must verify the patient’s identity using a valid government-issued ID, which includes interim credentials issued by the Ohio BMV while a permanent card is being processed.
Your staff’s explanation that this is “an Amplify rule” appears to be a policy that goes beyond and directly contradicts the standards set by the DCC. While private businesses may establish internal protocols, they may not arbitrarily deny service to medical patients who present valid and lawful documentation. This creates unnecessary barriers and undermines patient access to medical cannabis—something the medical program was expressly designed to prevent.
As a registered medical patient, I have chosen to support Amplify for nearly a year and have referred numerous patients and customers based on my prior positive experiences. However, if this dispensary continues to implement inconsistent and exclusionary practices under the guise of internal policy, I will regrettably take my business and referrals elsewhere.
I strongly urge your team to review DCC regulations to ensure compliance and to avoid alienating patients who rely on access to...
Read moreDon't do business with Amplify Dispensary in Bedford, Ohio.
I don't know how many people are medical marijuana patients here, but my husband & I have been Medical Marijuana patients, since they sold licenses.
We have done business with many dispensaries. We placed an order online with AmplifyDispensary(dot)com It was my husband's first time going there and so after we placed the order online, a brand new girl Amplify was training called and asked for my husband's driver's license number and medical marijuana license number.
We drive 45 minutes to Amplify Dispensary and when we get there we're told that we cannot purchase anything but an emergency amount because it says multiple patients on my husband's medical marijuana card. We just bought an ounce, less than a week ago at our normal dispensary with no issues.
Amplify dispensary argued with us that they did nothing wrong even though the state( that we had contacted) told us it was a data entry error from the new trainee Amplify Dispensary had that caused this error. I have attached the email from the state. When we called the dispensary back they wouldn't give us any information, they wouldn't give us their names, and they were rude, and would not look up any information and just argued that the state was wrong.
Management didn't even respond to our email. In fact, no one responded, we had to call today to find out what was going on and they were once again rude and disrespectful and argumentative.
Do not go here if you would like to be able to purchase your medication without issue. They will wreck your entire account make you unable to purchase and then argue with you the whole way.
Stay far away from Amplify...
