Has the absolute worst experience while attempting to get my prescription which had been in the "in progress" status for over a week. I absolutely understand that it the pharmacy may be short staffed due to COVID and I try to give grace and have patience but to just close the pharmacy or to not answer the phone ever is a bit ridiculous. I stayed on hold for hours only to get disconnected when it was answered. I then took a trip to the store and the drive through had a sign on the window siting short staff being the reason so I decide to go in the store in the height of a COVID surge and the line was so very long. Those standing in line included many elderly and maybe at risk individuals trying to get their medication filled. I decided not to take such risks and transfer to another Walgreens store which is no where near my home that answered immediately and was able to get my script filled the same day. I had a new eye drop prescription called in from my doctor on Thursday, giving them plenty of time to fill the script. I come to the window today and and the young girl says “your doctor has to call in and let us know something.” I said what is it I can call her and let her know. The girl then just hangs up the phone with me sitting at the window. I honked my horn and she refused to look at the window. I then called Macedonia Walgreens and they filled the script immediately. Obviously my doctor didn’t have to tell them anything. Absolutely ridiculous. This pharmacy has gone downhill fast.    Read moreEvery time I come to this location there is always attitude and confusion. I asked to do 2 transactions so I could get my points from the first transaction. The lady said that was fine then after the first one was done she said I could not do the second one. I bought extra things on the first transaction and made it clear what I wanted to do before it all took place. Then I pulled a coupon straight off the box on the shelf and she said she would not honor it bc it was expired. They should be more diligent and take it off of the shelf!! I then asked to return my order bc I did not want them to have my business. She had an attitude and left me at the counter and announced she was going on break....
