Don't waste your time. I waited 2 weeks for an appointment & not long after dropping my large breed dog off, I got a call saying that he was "growling at them & wouldn't come out of the kennel." I've had my dog since he was 6 weeks old (he's 2 & 1/5 now) & he has never growled at us, our friends, our family or even strangers. We had taken my dog to this place once before & never heard a word about him "being aggressive." I seriously question the professionalism & experience of the people that work there if they can't perform the same job twice. My husband even offered to stand there while our dog got bathed & whomever was working wouldn't let him. I'm extremely disappointed that our big baby (who loves water more than anything) didn't get the spa day that he deserves & I had to leave my job several times because they couldn't do their job. I won't be trying this place again & I won't recommend them to anyone I know.
Response to the owner: Shame on you for putting yourself in the middle of a situation that you don’t belong in. There are always 2 sides to every story & clearly, you have no clue what you’re talking about but don’t worry, there will be the right time & place to put your story to shame. My dog was right about you & your employees & I feel sorry for anybody that takes their fur babies to your “business.” Keep running your mouth about me & my dog though, you’re just verifying my opinion that you’re extremely unprofessional & that you have no business working in customer service. For the record to people reading this review, my dog did not hurt Andrea or any of her employees in any way shape or form. My dog being accused of biting a child has no business being on this review. That’s just Andrea’s way of trying to make up for her incompetence. Go find something...
Read moreThe first time I used Andie's, I was so impressed. My dog had never looked better, they spent the time that was needed - (which was a lot, but I paid for the extra time) I was super happy and decided this would be where my dog would go. The next time my dog needed groomed, I couldn't get an appointment that worked around my schedule, so I went someplace else. The third time I tried to get in, they were closed for vacations. No problem, I went to the "back-up place". I couldn't get anyone to answer the phone, so I went to the shop to book an appointment. I was REFUSED service because it had been more than 6 weeks since my dog was there last. Are you kidding me?? My dog gets groomed every 6 - 8 weeks, and I was not asked if she had been anyplace else between visits. I guess they just assumed I didn't care about my pet. The worst part was the owner (who was 5 feet away from me) ignored me completely when her employee had to inform me that there was a note in my file that said they would not groom my dog if it had been more than 6 weeks between visits. Great groomers, horrible customer service representatives. The worst part is they don't understand that my dog HAS been groomed on regular intervals. Why?? They never asked, just turned me away.. I would never recommend Andie's to anyone after this.
UPDATE: Just saw the owner's reply to my review. She said I arrived after hours (they close at 6 pm), then said I kept her there for 45 minutes after I arrived - funny how my google maps shows I arrived at 5:39 pm and left at 5:52 pm....kind of refutes her statement by evidence. Owner needs to stop being defensive and learn to...
Read moreBest groomer in the area. Andies has groomed my dogs forever. I feel so bad, they like everyone else, are struggling with getting enough staffing, bookings are at a premium everywhere so plan way ahead. It's not Andies fault, they are doing everything they can just like every business in town costs have gone through the roof, wages are pressed as high as most businesses can tolerate and the population growth is taxing at every level. Andie and the folks she has working there are absolutely top notch talented groomers. When my fur baby had an emergency vet need because if a pre-existing condition they even rode with my wife to the vet to make sure he was ok. They are truly a God send. Just like everywhere else in the valley, if you need something in a hurry your should have thought ahead and it isn't there fault you didn't. Dog Grooming is an ongoing regular process don't bring a dog in that hasn't been groomed in years and expect miracles. Just like if you don't wash and comb your hair for two years then want a hair cut that looks good it isn't going to happen. Grooming by definition is an ongoing maintenance not a quick fix. Unitl the population boom settles this isn't going to get better and with the rising cost of living there will be less and less folks to do the jobs so many take for granted. PLAN AHEAD AND BE NICE TO THOSE...
