After I messed up the unit by installing Windows 11 thought reg-edits.
EDIT (11/14/21): I installed Windows 10 through Bootcamp then edited the systems registry to allow a update to Windows 11, Not some 3 party system. The screen issue started when I installed a beta version of Monterey.
I sent the unit back (On my own dime) they were able to DFU recover the unit and sent it back at an additional cost of $86. The unit's lid has new dints and now they are not even responding to messages. please check pictures for information. Bottom line, I wouldn't recommend them if they were the last laptop retail change on the market. Don't if they are with the BBB but if they are, I will report them on there as well.
4 pictures are the chat log with Gorge from Electronic House, The picture of the unit they sent before shipping, the photo of the unit I sent them before shipping and the dent on the unit sent to them today and on the 12 of October when I got the unit back.
EDIT (11/14/21) To be clear, I am not ungrateful for the free repair, I did not ask for the charity and I would have rather paid for the repair than have the extra damage.
My photos shows the condition of the unit before it was sold to me, the condition before I sent it and the condition received.
There was only a $100 dollar discount for one side of the unit. I have added the proof of this with the messages from the reply when inquiring from the first conversation. Please check the 5th, 6th and 7th photos added.
Trying to scratch the truth to hid the service is also unacceptable. The laptop has barley any visible in the photos that he sent and now lying about magical damage done to this unit.
Trying to question my technical skill because I didn't know about DFU recovery and used a driver program that installed a bad chipset Windows 11 driver, instead of addressing the issue is the kind of service you can...
Read moreThese people will lie in your face and steal your money period I've been coming to this place about 5 years. about a year and a 1/2 ago, the owner Simon told me that they don't do repairs on phones. So I said okay. Because I had a phone that I wanted to repair. that was a Galaxy. I had an issue with the phone that I bought there, so it never dawned on me to contact them about repairs, since he told me they don't do repairs. We had bought an iphone 12 from them, after a few months the Screen was accidentally broken so we took it to another shop and the guy opened up the phone up ,by the way his bench is right in the open he opened the phone in front of you,and never takes it behind the seen.. He fixed the screen. once he fixed the screen. We notify him that we had been having battery issues. He opened up the back of the phone and found a chip in the back of the phone. That tricks the phone to say. That it has a good battery and actually it doesn't. So the chip that they buy is like 3 Bucks vs. Buying the battery, it is like twelve or thirteen dollars. And if you do that over time, just think about how much money you're Gonna be saving. And how many times the client is going to have to come back? Because they really think it's something wrong with the phone. These guys are liars and thieves. I would advise you not to go here..

Read moreI purchased a MacBook Pro earlier this week. Went to Apple to get a diagnostics check on it. Verified that the screen was not apple genuine (no fault of Electronics House). The gentleman who helped me was surprised by my findings too and offered me a replacement, no questions asked. I ended up getting what I had originally hoped to purchased on my first visit. The process was quick and easy. Customer service is top notch and I recommend this shop!
Edit: it’s been a couple years since my previous review.. I messaged the owner on FB Messenger or Instagram (where we’ve chatted before), or maybe one of the staff members a while back, and the person I was chatting with gave me an attitude for letting him/her know I had a budget of so-and-so, to which they responded, if I recall correctly, “I run a store…. Not a [whatever you’d call a FB Marketplace sale].” I was so taken back by it that I never returned. I wasn’t trying to negotiate a price on an item, I wasn’t simply trying to get him/her to help me find a product in my budget. This interaction has made me stopped recommending this place. Prior to this interaction, I’ve even brought folks to buy MacBooks, Apple Watches, and accessories with me.
Their customer service is what brought me in.
