ALDI — Local services in Belleville

Gotta love Aldi's! My husband and I were able to get 5 full days of meals & snacks and enough breakfast items for the week for $60. The fruits and vegetables are just as good or better than the local and chain grocery stores near us. We have never had any problem with their meats either. This is not generic food, I might add. And much of it is better for you than what you find in the Walmart because a lot of Aldi's food comes from Germany and other countries where they don't put the harmful chemical additives like this country does. Well, it used to be German food. I'm not sure if that is how Aldi's actually operates anymore.. I will have to research again since it has been a few years since I researched where their food comes from. I do notice more American brands there now than before. They have a Chicago pizza there, along with White Castles in a box, Pop Tarts name brand, Dawn dish soap, their liquor license came in too. They have tasty alcohol now. Also is absolutely fantastic! I grew up in Germany so I grew up with Aldi all my life over there. Once they came over to the US I was in heaven! They have a great selection of cheeses and sandwich meats, even platters for on the go and soooo cheap! The produce is incredibly inexpensive, just plan on consuming it within a few days of purchasing. I make my 95lb American Stafford Shire Terrier's wet food from scratch and about 4 years ago I started buying his produce and meats from Aldi in bulk. It saves me at least $100 every two months compared to buying from your standard grocery store. Plus they have all the fun, non food items, seasonal items and clothing and cookware and...

Employees were SO rude , I guess they were mad people were there an HOUR before they closed . One of them was literally throwing boxes over my head when I was looking at the fruit section . The other had the WORST attitude yelling at everyone that walked into a “closed aisle” if you don’t want people looking down an aisle maybe make sure it’s obvious it’s closed instead of yelling at everyone that...
