A Surprisingly Delightful Experience
We tried this place based on a recommendation and didn’t expect much, but wow, were we pleasantly surprised from start to finish.
We started with the Spicy Kani Salad, which was a first for us. It’s mostly made of crab, and honestly, it was such a unique dish—in the best way. It had a fresh, ocean-like flavor and a wonderful texture. We’d definitely order it again.
For the main dishes, we went with the Teriyaki Steak & Chicken combo and a bowl of pork ramen.
The combo started off with a small cup of clear broth with a couple of mushroom slices. It was mild, clean, and a nice way to kick things off. The steak and chicken arrived hot, fresh, and full of flavor. Between the two, the chicken was the winner—more tender and better at soaking up the sauce. The veggies were perfectly cooked, and the rice had a nice, slightly firm texture.
The ramen was delicious too—just the right portion size. Adding a side of chili crisp really brought the broth to life. The pork was tender and flavorful, and the eggs had a rich soy taste. They were cooked a little more than what most places serve, but we actually liked them that way. The only thing we could’ve done without was the corn; it just didn’t feel necessary.
Overall, we’re really glad we gave this place a shot. It’s clean, the staff is super friendly, and the service was fast. Plus, they have a big sushi menu for anyone...
Read moreI vsited this location with my friend. We ordered a few things along with tempura shrimp. When the shrimp came out my friend took a bite of one and decided she did not want it. She called the waitress over and told her she did not like it and asked if it could be removed. The waitress proceeds to state that she ate it and she has to pay. My friend explains to her that the plate is full and she only took a bite out of one of the shrimp. The waitress says they cannot serve the food to other customers. We stated that we hope she wouldn't. My friend asked to speak with a manager so the waitress returns to the table with her phone on speaker. The owner or what we assumed may have been the manager. The person on the phone says that cannot resale the food.* I'm not sure why this is being repeated * so we ask her to just send her a picture of the plate to show proof of what was eaten. After a few things back and forth. It became apparent they didn't understand. The person on the other end of the phone just kept repeating that we had to pay. Which was never the issue for the additional items that were ordered. Only the shrimp. After the exchange was had the caller stated would give something off of the shrimp. We pay and as we await change and our debit cards to be returned all of the staff came to the front and stared at us. Which was weird. We left won't...
Read moreI came here once by myself then I brought my kiddos and 2 of their friends for a girls' day. Both times the staff hav been very friendly and the restaurant is also very clean. The Gyoza is top notch!! We always get it fried and they do a great job with cooking it and it's filled with a delicious meat mixture. The Crab Rangoon is also good, not the best I've had as I don't like it so sweet but it's not overly sweet like some. The first time I came I got sushi which was good but this time I got miso soup and and Shrimp Teriyaki. I was pleasantly surprised with the freshness of the cooked veggies and shrimp and the sauce was not the gnawing teriyaki blend that too many use. The miso soup is packed with tofu, seaweed, and flavor. We got 2 lunch sushi combos and the goal lived it and it was a great deal for the price as well. They also shared a lunch beef noodle bowl. It was delicious, packed with veggies and meat, and a huge portion. For the price and quality, this is definitely...
