I was just in your Belleville Michigan store and I was discriminated against by your female Black cashier on register 1. First because she had to check out 27 items for me. Second because I was old, and third because I was white. She had me moving my shopping cart from one point to another. Then she had me take my mop and broom off the conveyor belt 3 times. Said it was messing up her order in front of me, which wasn't true. The guy had removed his card to quick and cancelled the transaction. My mop and broom had nothing to do with that. Then she made me sort my order from food to other items. I have COPD and I explained to her I couldn't do all the moving of my shopping cart back and forth because I have shortness of breath and had just gotten out of the hospital.. She said you need to take a deep breath and chill. At that point I was ready to punch her and walk out. I will never shop at a...
Read moreSome of staff are hit or miss. Some are rude and some are really nice. Tom is one of my favorite cashiers he's always so friendly. This other cashier though she was so rude, I asked her if she could wrap up something in paper for me since it was glass and breakable. She wouldn't do it and was very rude about it. Also sometimes the hours online don't match the hours posted on the door. Another thing that bothers me is that you can't just use the bathroom. You have to ask for a key 🗝️ to use the bathroom. I wanted to use the bathroom and there was an out of order sign on the bathroom door. They really need to get their bathrooms fixed then customers won't have to suffer. Also they tend to get rid of items with no notice at all, it's so annoying and inconvenient. They've been out of my favorite green tea for awhile now it's so irritating. Anyways, the layout is okay and prices are...
Read moreMy niece and her friends were racially profiled against in this store. The employees followed my niece and her friends around. When I asked why they were followed, I was told “We’ve had a lot of theft and we only notice it after teenagers have been in”. I explained to them that while I understood the need to cut down on theft, following a group of teenagers around the store isn’t going to alleviate your problem. It also seems like a very prejudicial practice. They continue to do this and I’ve told my niece not to go there anymore as discrimination against anyone (for age, race, or anything!) is...
