OK where do I start. So I went to get my nails done because I was getting married. One of the ladies there was a rude from the minute I walked in. She asked me what I wanted I told her, ā€œacrylic setā€, she motioned for me to come sit down...I did. She then told me get up and go pick a color. I told her that I was doing just the pink and white acrylic and showed her a picture. Being snarky she said, ā€œoh that’s an called o-m-b-r-e.ā€ And the way she said ā€œombreā€ made me feel like she was talking to me like I was stupid. She then said , ā€œI don’t do that. Sit over there.ā€ and she pointed to the chair next to me. I gather my stuff and move over. The man who did my nails was very nice. EXCEPT. He kept getting on his phone, it was extremely rude and there was something that he was trying to send on his phone. It wasn’t working so he was angrily hitting the screen on his phone in between filing my nails and apologizing. I had been there for about 10 minutes at that point and was already over it. This was a treat to myself I was not enjoying it. Just to get a simple pink and white ombre was $50. Then by day three they started chipping apart! I couldn’t believe it. So I go back up there to get them redone which I am told 100 times that they’ve never! had that problem before nor have they ever had a customer return to get something redone. While I was getting my nails done the first lady that I seen the first time I was there (leaned her name is Kayla), she was making fun of a customer who had called and wanted to speak to management. (Hm? Thought they never had any problems?) and they all laughed about it. When it was time for me to go wash my hands I heard the man who was redoing my nails tell another client that he was sorry it was taking so long but people like to come in last minute and it takes up their time from being able to get to their appointments. Mind you it’s wasting my time having to come back. He’s then finishing up my nails when I return, and Kaila makes more comments about how they need to jack up their prices since their customers are making them stay so late. Before I went up there I called them and asked them when would be a good time for me to come in because of my job I don’t get off until six and I knew that they close at seven. But they said it was no problem to come in so that’s why I did. I’ve been in customer service for eight years. And I’ve been getting my nails done longer than that. I don’t know why this experience was so bad and even after he did my nails he leaves me there under the light and runs over to the cash register where he starts pulling out the money and counting it. I’m just left sitting there like are you gonna put anything on my hands like any oil for the dryness? Nope. Nothing. So I awkwardly walk out with my crusty redo. (Darkest picture provided the brighter pictures are before the redo) According to all the reviews a lot of people love this place so I thought why not give them my money but I will never be going here again. Also their waxing room was really disgusting and very unsanitary. Never again Belle Nails.

I got a manicure and pedicure on Friday 8/12. I now have 2 warts on my fingers (last time I had one was around age 8) and cellulitis of the right foot. I called the manager for a refund. The manager said I have to come up there and show her. I am not going to drive from Canton to Sumter to show her my foot- I have small children. I was refused a refund. I do not like to be a complainer but I told her since I will not get a refund I will post a bad review on Google since I have spent my money on an urgent care visit and now antibiotics. The manager told me this happens a lot but there’s no way to prove that they did it. If ā€œit happens a lotā€ clearly it’s something they are doing wrong. Update: As of 8/23/22 I called this morning and left a voicemail for someone to call me after reading the below comment from the manager. No calls so far. All I am asking for is a refund after getting cellulitis on my foot after the staff accidentally cut my foot. Maybe I should call the state for an inspection? I will take my review down once my refund is completed.

Never send your teen daughter alone! Earlier this week, we were there for manicures. Easy peasy. Great job. My daughter talked with Selena, asking if she could do builder gel. She said yes. We booked an appointment for 11 today. Selena didn't even get done with her client until 12, and my daughter was passed to Taylor because she couldn't even do builder. So, she got a full set of acrylics for $85. The nails are all bumpy, and they didn't even bother to clean the polish off of her fingers. The owner did offer to fix her nails. We won't be wasting time going back. Very disappointed. She was clearly taken advantage of. $60 for set with almond shape and $25 upcharge for the glitter stripe and length. They're not even that long. They're just sloppy, plain and simple. Shame on Taylor for sending her out of the store that way. BTW, of course, she said she liked them. She's 15 and doesn't know how to deal with adults during a conflict.

Extremely disappointed in Belle Nails. šŸ˜‘ I made an appointment and was called about 15 minutes prior to the appointment time to be told that the nail technician would be returning approximately 20 minutes after the scheduled appointment. I was about to reschedule and the person on the phone asked that I still come for the appointment today and that they would run the water for the pedicure and I would get a little extra relaxing soak. Sounded like an ok idea. I arrived for my appointment two ladies doing nails were very short with me and dismissed me to the other side where the pedicure chairs are and said the name of the tech and said she’d be right over. I asked are you sure I was told she needed extra time the second person repeated something and then said she’s here and yelled out the nail technician’s name at-least four times before the other staff person said something that I couldn’t understand. I said she isn’t over there. Then the other person in a black sweater / shirt today said extremely rudely ā€œSHE SAID GO TAKE A SEAT ANY CHAIR AND SOMEONE WILL HELP YOU!ā€ I decided not to escalate the situation that was becoming rather negative and walked back to the pedicure side again said a friendly hello and was greeted by silence and blank stares by the nail techs on that side. I walked back to the front desk and said I’m sorry no one seemed to know why I’m here. Is it possible that one of you could start the bowl so I could go ahead and start soaking it’s getting late. I was then told in a snippy and dismissive tone ā€œjust sit anywhere and someone will be there to help you.ā€ I replied ok. I chose a chair and sat down for quite a while without being acknowledged or having anyone care to even start the water for the pedicure soak to buy the nail tech time to arrive even though the rude lady had asked me to keep the appointment over the phone. The energy and attitude was negative and dismissive and there are literally nail salons on almost every corner. I decided to take my business ELSEWHERE and have already been serviced and I’m enjoying my pedicure. Belle nails needs to be mindful of their business practices and attitudes towards customers. I enjoy the nail tech who I made the appointment with and it’s unfortunate that she has to work in that type of negative...

Belle was one of the worst nail salons I have ever been to. I was excited to go there with my daughter; however when we arrived no one greeted us. We had to wait about 20 minutes to get a seat and once the seat was ready with the water we were not given any instructions just told in a very rude way to have a seat. We waited another 30 minutes with no one coming up to us to give an ETA on when someone would be able to give us the actual pedicure. My daughter had to go to the potty and didn’t even have a towel to dry her feet because we were never given one and no one made eye contact for us to ask for anything. When a Women, who i later found out was the owner finally came over and I was up next, she bypassed me for another lady who came in after me. The lady was nice and told the owner that I was next, however the owner rudely dismissed me and started helping the other lady with her pedicure as I continued to wait. My daughter had to leave because at this point her baby was hungry and needed to eat and we didn’t know what time someone would actually help us of if we were going to receive service at all. When I finally did get help I noticed That the nail tools used were not clean and had been sitting on the table from the previous customer. The manager was extremely rude and unprofessional throughout my pedicure, however she smiled and treated other customers who were not POC’s very friendly. My baby toe was nicked during the pedicure. This was a terrible experience and very disappointing as my daughter and I had been looking for a new nail salon that was closer to home to have our mother daughter bonding time. The owner of the establishment was rude, unprofessional, and showed some real bias in the treatment of her customers. It appeared that she valued some customer’s business over others and catered to those individuals. I left walking away like I was not welcome in this establishment and that my business was unwanted. This was hurtful and I hope others will not be subject to this same experience. For me I will not be returning here and will look for other establishments in the area that value me...
