Farmers Market — Local services in Belleville

After shopping at the location on north belt west for the past 5 years of living in the area today was my last day shopping there after I was treated with terrible customer service after buying a $13 pink pineapple which was bad the day I purchased it and because I work nights no fault of theirs but when I wake up they are closed.i purchased the pineapple on the 26th before they closed along with other items like a watermelon that I already had to take back because it was not sweet at all drove it back to the store the same day before closing they replaced it cut it open so I could try it great no problem now 3 days after that I finally catch them open with lack of sleep I get hassled on getting another pineapple because I didn’t know I should have kept it in the refrigerator molded.i talked to the owner and he agreed with the staff that they couldn’t give me another in its place.(terrible)I called the north Illinois location and explained to them my issue and they said they were the same people just another location told me to bring the pineapple and they will replace it no problem.that really blew me but I do appreciate the service i received from them and will make the extra distance drive to get better service. What the north belt location could have easily done was educate me on keeping bad fruit in the fridge until its returned but no they lost me.fyi.after typing all this im just going to copy it to the other...

By far the best markets in the area, with the friendliest most knowledgeable staff. Be it a teen working, on up to the owner, they can answer all of my questions, and I can see that they treat everyone like they’ve known them forever. Love that feeling, they never look frazzled or bothered by questions. Without a doubt have the freshest and best produce and select specialty items anywhere around. If they’re not up to par, they reimburse you. I do miss the delivery service they had a few years called “Fruit my Cube”. It was honestly the best thing I’ve ever done for myself and my health. Wish they’d do something similar since all the chain stores now have home delivery. (I’ve not used any) but never once was I disappointed with the Farmers Market. It’s a pleasure for me to go there, and they’ll always tell me what they have that’s at it best taste at the height of any season. Cannot recommend them enough. If there were 10 stars...

STAY AWAY!!! I am new to Belleville, and every time my wife goes here, she has mediocre service..... sometimes great. But every time I go here....I get IGNORED. I swear I only say Hello and they IGNORE ME!!! I DONT think they LIKE BLACK MALES!!! I definitely will be moving out of this town.. Oh well, I have 17 rentals in the area....I will spend my money in another town! Belleville sucks. Where's the Customer Service? Stop hiring Racist people. Pay attention to your employees' social media and life if you can not determine who they are. I own 3 corporations... there is NO EXCUSE.I will continue making money off you people, but I will not live here.

I'm really considering doing a 100 men boycott in front of this location and contacting Belleville News Democrat BND to exercise our civil rights before I leave...
