I don't know when businesses decided that customer service and satisfaction weren't driving forces for continued success anymore? There is so much focus on "online ordering" that these core concepts have been lost. Where does it end? I went online and placed my order because you are forced to if you want to order the Papa Pairings. I immediately called the store after placing my order to see if they could have it ready at 6:30 or so. They have a place online where you can select pickup an hour later or more or pickup ASAP. For regular orders half hour increments would be more reasonable. If they can have it ready in 15 minutes then why is 30 minutes such a problem? The employee tells me it's already in the works and she literally doesn't know how to wait 10 -15 minutes before starting an order. I'm not a rocket scientist, but I know that even at warp speed they couldn't have done anything with my order yet. 43 seconds was the amount of elapsed time between me hitting the place order button online and the store answering my call! The bottom line was that she didn't want to be bothered with helping me. I picked my order up and already knew it was going to be terrible.... And it most certainly was old, cold, and awful. It sat under a warming lamp for over 30 minutes because an employee couldn't be bothered with helping me with a very simple request. Companies wonder why they are being forced to close or file bankruptcy?? Papa Johns lost a customer tonight! Repeat business isn't something they want to be bothered with. Terrible service is something I refuse to be...
Read moreTerrible customer service. I ordered two pizzas for carryout at 10:40 and their website claims that their carryout is open until 11:25. I got a confirmation email saying my pizzas would be ready in 20 minutes. About 10 minutes after placing the order they call my phone claiming they could not make my food because their doors were already locked and they didn't want to open them because they were scared I would rob them. I talked on the phone with an man claiming to be the manager and when I asked why their website has false information he said that they did not have to go by their listed hours and he could only cancel my order. I asked if he could deliver it to their parking lot and just hand me the pizzas and he said they could not do that and kept referencing their policy which is listed no where. The man I talked to was rude and very short with his answers and he could barely get out a sentence without stuttering his words and contradicting himself. I ended up cancelling my order and before I could say another word he hung up on me mid conversation. I would not recommend this Papa John's and I will be taking my...

Mind you, imagine a smug/monotone voice that was short with every interaction and made no attempt to hide the fact they didn’t want to be interacting with anyone....
“Papa Johns.” “Hi, how are you tonight?” “Fine, what would you like?” “I’d like to place an order, do you have any delivery specials?” “No.” “Okay. Do you have any carry out specials?” “Our Carryout is closed.” “Oh okay. Well can I get a medium cheese and a medium pepperoni.”
Proceed to exchange information and confirm order.
“It will be about 35 minutes.” “Sounds good! Thanks, have a good night!” Click
Customer service with this store in particular is absolutely abysmal. They make no attempt to hide their disdain for their job or their customers as they mull through the boxes they must check to complete their job at a bare minimum.
I apologize if this presents anyone in a negative light who may do their job genuinely, but unfortunately the consistency of bad service over the course of many years has affirmed my decision to post...
