Worst experience ever. I've worked in the food industry for 15 years. I've seen it all. I'm pretty understanding because I understand things just come up. But everything about our "experience" was terrible from the moment we walked in.
Biggest issue was the super long wait after we placed our order.. later our waitress came over and apologized about the wait because there had been a large carryout order for 20+ people. Ok.... But what about the 2 tables who were seated after us who got their food before we did? We finally asked for our food to be boxed up so we could leave after sitting there for 45min. We're lucky to have gotten our drinks... no silverware... "get some when its rolled..." again.. I UNDERSTAND. but then you never gave us any. You boxed up our food, which wasn't made correctly either. My boyfriends daughter was given a flattened out hamburger and ordered a sirloin breakfast. We only realize this after getting home.
I don't expect things to be free right off the bat- but they charged us $21 for our to go meals and didnt give a receipt to know how much anything cost.
I cant call them because the number posted on here says the mailbox isnt set up and it goes straight to the lackof voicemail message without even ringing.
I have always been skeptical about going here. A lot of things look off... Usually the hole in the wall family places are usually undervalued... this is not one of them.
What makes you have to put up a sign that says dont use your hands at the salad bar, also including another sign that states it is NOT all you can eat. All I can say is good luck and hope your "experience" is better than mine.
*UPDATE. THEY CAME BACK HOME WITH THE REMADE ORDER. DIDNT GET HIS MONEY BACK. MY PANCAKES ARE RAW IN THE CENTER. ARE YOU KIDDING ME.
I ordered strawberry cheesecake pancakes. Its not cheesecake I'm seeing that is raw. There are white pieces of cheesecake and then there is yellow raw pancake batter. Absolutely ridiculous... And then they had the nerve to tell him to...
Read moreI had an excellent first time experience here.
I arrived at 9:30am just on The tail end of the breakfast rush, there were a few tables available when I walked into the restaurant. The wait staff was quick to notice and invite me to a table. I was supplied with a menu asked if I would like to order something to drink and told they would be back shortly to take my full order. After looking the menu over the wait staff arrived back at the table at 9:40 to ask if I had decided we what I would be ordering. I inquired on a few of the items and they were very knowledgeable about what they had to offer. I ended up ordering two of the banana pecan crepes and an order of two biscuits with gravy. While I was waiting for my food I was able to enjoy the clean friendly atmosphere of the location. My food arrived at 10:02 about 20 minutes after ordering and o could tell from the wonderful smell of banana and cinnamon that everything was freshly made. Starting with the crepes I found them to be melt in the mouth perfection from first bite to last. Afterwards I enjoyed the fluffy biscuits covered a generous amount of savory, creamy, sausage gravy.
Full and finished the wait staff was very prompt with my bill upon request and the hostess at the front was very pleasant making the entire experience one I would enjoy returning for again.
Before leaving I did stop by their restroom facilities, and while the area showed the most signs of the age of the building, it did not lack any in its cleanliness or...
Read morePros: Food was REALLY good and fast (I got one of their skillets with hotcakes).
Prices are very competitive.
Cons: Service was mediocre. Our server seemed like she wanted to be anywhere else but there (other servers seemed friendly though). Never got a refill on my coffee.
Place is very small for how busy they are and their parking lot is horrible. Our table was by the front entrance and there is no waiting area for people waiting on tables, so people waiting on tables were standing within a couple feet of us while we were eating breakfast. It was weird and awkward.
Note to customers: I understand that you want to relax, take your time, and enjoy your coffee and mindless conversation about coupons or whatever but be courteous to people waiting on tables when it's busy. Several tables were setup for four people but only occupied by 2 that just sat there, sipping on their 3rd and 4th cups of coffee while the queue continued to grow. Several people left, losing business for the owners and tips for the servers, because you just weren't ready waddle to the front door. Grab your styrofoam to-go container, Gertrude, and head for the exit. I am sure you have a spoiled grandkid, somewhere, waiting on his hard...
