If it was possible they would have 0 stars from me. I placed an online order for 5 bottles of a German Liquor, after speaking personally with the store manager, David to be sure that what I wanted was available. Their website indicated it was indeed in stock and I ordered five bottles. Today we drove over 200 miles from Maryland to pick up our purchase after receiving an email confirming that our order was ready. When we got to the store David said “oh I’m sorry but we only have two bottles” Hardly worth the drive. He offered us no compensation for our trouble Or to make up for their mistake. We would not have made the journey for only two bottles…. The tolls alone were more expensive than the actual purchase, Not to mention our gas and time. David’s attitude was very dismissive. If they only had two bottles why did I receive an email saying that my order was ready for pick up? Having owned businesses, I understand this is not how you treat your customer. Please find another liquor store. The answer of “there’s nothing I can do” was kind of pitiful for someone calling themselves management....
Read moreJust came upon this store while shopping at Shoprite. I figured that I would buy a drink to enjoy at home. I was followed while in the store by staff wearing causal and athletic clothing. The staff acted as if they were shopping around me and then entered into the back of the refrigeration unit after. This was very odd. I felt like all eyes were on me as I decided what to buy. The only upside is that the selection was massive. If you cannot find what you like to drink in there, then you should stick to water! On a serious note, I have an extensive background in loss prevention; and, I am currently a police officer, so I know when I am being followed. It was a very uneasy feeling and the first time that I have felt like this. Pro tip: you should never follow someone around the store unless you are a trained professional; instead, offer customer service and be friendly as a thief hates to be noticed but a customer would love your recommendations. I bought my items and left, as I did not want to give the satisfaction or idea of them being right by me walking out...

It is interesting that you put that it was allegedly a fake credit card transaction in order for your liquor store to suggest the onus is on me, however, it is not a fake credit card/debit card and when I called and when I emailed no one ever responded. If I were a scammer, why would I bring attention to myself by contacting your company to inquire what was going on with a bottle I was gifting to someone? Maybe, just maybe you are the scammers.
