I felt gross when I left their office, the experience was rather dehumanizing. Imagine if the mean girls in middle school were giving you a gynecological exam. The person who did the exam had no idea what she was doing (she wasn't a doctor, and I wasn't aware of that when I scheduled the appointment). She actually said "lunchtime' when she started the exam. I suggest she trains further under supervision before they schedule appointments under her alone.
Few more problems here:
(1) Staff is highly unprofessional. I was left in stirrups more than once with no knowledge of what was happening. The person helping me would run out for a doctor and disappear, leaving me completely in the dark as to what issues had arisen. Also, on more than one occasion, she got me in the position for a procedure than ran out saying she needed a doctor. The first time she left me there, saying, "I don't want to have to put you through this again." Leaving instruments the instruments inside me while she carried on. Would she want to be treated that way? Later on, when the Doctor came in to assist her, the doctor giggled occasionally (I'm not sure at what...).
(2) Many doctors and nurse practitioners don't understand the importance of empathy and concern for patients (also known as 'bedside manner'). We go to the doctor not just to get answers, but to have a conversation about our bodies. If something is wrong, we want to know, and we don't want medical professionals to eye-roll or turn their noses up when we ask questions or need clarity. I think it's worth saying that doctors and nurses who do not understand this are a liability to the organization as a whole.
(3) This bureaucratic structure of this place has caused it to be largely inefficient. You can't get an answer from any of the staff members, and the practitioners who do have the answers are too busy to speak with you.
In total, the staff at the De Pere location were clownish. They need training that emphasizes professionalism and need strengthening in customer service skills. I would also recommend restructuring their bureaucracy to ease the flow of information to patients regarding their health needs...
Read moreDr. Mohammad Jazayeri was highly recommended by several friends. We started out here and, not knowing better, were initially happy with the service. Hindsight is 20/20.
They get one star because they were able to determine that I actually didn't have the whole host of fertility issues Dr. Kaldas (Menasha) suspected (but never confirmed) I may have because a close female family member had. Shame on him, but that's a separate review. I've never had symptoms and only went in as preventative to confirm I was healthy.
They racked up over $10k in unnecessary medical procedures for our first pregnancy, and we didn't even have the baby with them. When they finally admitted they were not going to let me try for a vaginal delivery, much less a natural delivery, and were going to force me to have a C-section we changed doctors at 38 weeks pregnant. Their reason was because my son was measuring slightly big. My husband is 6'3'', I am 6'0'', and my husband was a larger baby. My son ended up being 9 lb 15 oz with a large head. I had a healthy pregnancy and by other doctors' standards was not high-risk, but doc didn't tell me he treats all patients as high risk regardless. Tall people often manufacture large/long babies. My son weighed a lot in utero and at birth because he was born almost 2 feet long!
Fast forward 7 years. We are still paying off my son's labor and delivery because they refuse to settle. Now I'm all for paying off my debt and spending responsibly, but they were downright preying on these first-time parents. My friend who recommended them was able to get Bellin to settle because Dr. J's claims hit after Bellin's labor/delivery claims, so he was paid by her insurance. I sell health insurance and have worked in healthcare since 2002, so I do understand my coverage and the whole healthcare system. At least they haven't tacked on interest or a payment plan, so I should feel honored that I'm funding Dr. J's kids' private school education. The Hippocratic Oath of doing no harm includes not encouraging care your patients (who trust you) can not afford and labelling it as...
Read moreI had a horrible experience with this place! To top off how bad it was they seriously lacked in any sort of compassion for their patience! They sent me home after an ectopic pregnancy while I was internally bleeding in excruciating pain and couldn't control the bleeding down there either. When I call the emergency room weeks later with the same symptoms the on-call doctor literally said " well I never had an ectopic before so I don't know but your going to have terrible pain and bleeding! If the pain gets too bad that you can't tolerate it anymore then come into the emergency room I'm not sure what they'll do for you other than another ultrasound( which they didn't do anything after the last few ultrasounds) impossibly just to remove the ectopic surgically. I WAS DUMBFOUNDED! I am not a doctor but knew something wasn't right but nobody listened. Finally after over a month of dealing with this same chronic God awful pain and bleeding I wasn't even able to care for my own child. I went in for a second opinion somewhere else and they were completely shocked that I was left like that I ended up having emergency surgery which was more complicated because of the fact that it was left untreated for so long. Needless to say I was internally bleeding and the blood ended up drying inside me with my reproductive organs stuck to my bowels and bladder and even after the chemotherapy injections I had through Bellin obviously didn't work because the ectopic was still stuck inside my fallopian tube only destroying it more. I have called and complained but that doesn't seem to matter the doctors and board members discussed it and agree to their idea of a...
