Update: August 2021 Ordered a tater tot appetizer which was quite messy. We were not given any plates. We had to all eat off the tray that was put in the center of the table. Then when things fell off of the fork and on to our napkins we were able to enjoy getting pieces of napkin in our food. When I inquired about plates, I was told that plates are not given out unless specifically requested. My wife ordered boneless wings with carrots and my nephew the same as her. His came with carrots and hers did not. When I then asked why one came with vegetables and the other did not, I was told that you needed to ask for them. Fortunately our appetizer was good so when the waitress came around I grabbed the tray the appetizer came on and asked if we could have another. Would you believe she brought us another tray. When I clarified that we wanted another tarter tot appetizer she told me that they didn't have any more tater tots! Poor service, poor everything. We had one appetizer, a 6 piece, a 10 piece, a 15 piece and a burger and for drinks; $81! Way not worth the money!
My daughter ordered a chicken strip salad. She asked for no tomatoes and no onions; the salad came with them on. They did take $5 of the bill after I pointed it out to them. My daughter enjoyed her salad even though she had to pick around things. My wife ordered a chicken snack with Asian zing and loved it. Me being the critic that I am, was not looking to find anything great. I have been here before and it has been average. Today I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with pickled onions and slaw (on a hoagie roll). It was great! To summarize the bill, it was $46 (after taking the $5 off). With the three items mentioned we had three beers and a soda. Tonight the only reason for a four was due to both the kitchen and the server missing to check the accuracy...
Read moreOver multiple visits over the last year or so, this place has really gone down hill. I will relate experiences that have happened multiple times.
Hand sanitizer to the left of the door? Out Hand sanitizer to the right of the door? Out Hand sanitizer by the takeout station? Out
Hmmm, how are the employees cleaning their hands? Let's check the bathroom. Soap dispenser on the right? Out. Soap dispenser on the left? Ah-ha, finally some soap.
I've brought this to the attention of staff, that after recommending "I check the bathroom", did absolutely nothing to refill the sanitizer. When I left, half the staff from the front of the house were out back smoking and visiting.
The floor is often dirty.
The music is annoyingly loud, sometimes night club levels of loud.
The portion sizes continue to shrink. The boneless wing size is laughable. Nickel sized wings anyone?
Now, about bringing the food to the table. The food for everyone needs to come out the same time. How can this be happening repeatedly? This is basic service for basic human etiquette. When I'm with my son, it seems my food usually arrives first. He's young and usually hungry so I share my food with him. Last night we finished my wings before his food arrived. This is completely unacceptable.
I'm not even sure this location is even trying to be a restaurant anymore. It's more like an unsanitary à la carte line you sit down for.
I will never eat here again if the choice is left to me. My wife and I actively sh*t talk this place. The only reason I've been coming back is my kid really likes the food but I can work on persuading him to choose other establishments.
Previous 5 stars - Nice, clean place. I like this location better than the west...
Read moreNot a sports fan but I felt like something different. Only ever been to BWW once, several years ago, and I wasn't enamored to come back but I forgot why. When I walked in the door I was reminded. It was extremely bright, loud, and 50 million big screen TVs with sports playing. Great. I had come this far and I was hungry. It was 9pm on a Sunday night in an unfamiliar town and a lot of places were closed/stopped serving food. I guess if you this is post/pre Covid 19 on a Big Game Night, all the patrons would be delighted. Just not my thing, not necessarily bad I guess.
"Once more into the breach......"
Hostess was friendly but didn't leave me with a menu which I didn't think about until she had already walked away. There was a QR code on the table to access their menu but I had left my phone in the car. At this day and age am I expected to have a phone walking into a restaurant, just as I would with reading glasses and wallet? You decide. But no biggie. I got a menu from my server McKenzie, ordered a drink, and quickly decided what I wanted so when she came back I was able to order already.
Food came out quickly and was delicious. I really need to shout out McKenzie though. She was very attentive and very friendly. And GENUINE. I worked hospitality many years and have been going to restaurants for many years. A lot of servers have to force their friendliness or seemed burdened by it. I didn't get that from McKenzie. She came across as genuinely sweet and friendly, easy to laugh genuinely and ensured everything was okay for me. BWW is really lucky that I don't live in the area and own a restaurant because she would be working for me right now at whatever...
