The new Curtis Apartments in Bellingham, Ma have been AMAZING to my family and I! We moved in July 1st to one of there new luxury apartments in a beautiful building! My son and I and our dog Emma cannot BE MORE HAPPY IN THIS ENTIRE COMMUNITY! We feel safe, valued and cared about on a daily basis! Whether it's our awesome neighbors all around us, or our AMAZING STAFF that seem to ALWAYS BE ON SITE even after closing hours they work so hard! We truly have to express our gratitude most importantly to the wonderful on site Manager Gail Murray who has worked overtime to make us all here feel not only welcomed but more like a family member. She's truly the MOST AMAZING hard working manager of a property I have ever dealt with. So easy to talk to about ANYTHING, always ready to help with anything on site, emails after hours and always a quick response. The leasing girls are just as accommodating as the property manager Gail! Jess and Sophie have been just as wonderful. My family and I moved from a single home and was not use to apartment living. Since we have moved here it has been like a dream come true. (My 12 yr olds words)" I LOVE COMING HOME EVERYDAY, ESPECIALLY TO NOT HAVING THE CHORE OF RUNNING OUTSIDE TO TAKE TRASH OUT"! Every accommodation from VALET TRASH outside your door, mail package room, the fitness center, the GAME ROOM for my kids, the list goes on! With the dog love HERE being REAL (; I truly cannot say enough. My family is so happy here! It's the kind of apartment and living community that makes you feel EXCITED and easy to come home to everyday! We have said along with some of our guests we have had over that it doesn't feel like we are in a building when we are home, our apartment is that beautiful and cozy! Special shout out to the on site manager Gail and her staff for making our move in and experience here above and beyond our expectations! I also have to add how the SUMMER FUN in the community was A BLAST! The swimming pool, the smores with kids at the fire pit, grill outs with family. My kids LOVED playing wall scrabble in the game room when they were pooled out from hours of swimming! We are truly looking forward to our first Christmas here at the Curtis! I wanted to share a picture with everyone of the towels my 12 yr old picked out for our stove after we moved in! Speaks volume how happy my little man is! Thanks for making our new home and community...
Read moreI moved in August 2023, the apartments look great but looks are very deceiving. The quality of workmanship in all trades is very poor and they use low grade products.
I have complained and reported within a week of living here of a strong sewer odor all the time coming from laundry and coat closet, finally two weeks ago the maintenance manager smelled the bad sewerage odor and he told me he was going to report to the company. A smoke test was recommended to be performed in the plumbing pipes to locate where the rotten sewerage smell is coming from, I was just told from the maintenance manager on Thursday 9/28/23 that the owners of the property denied the test from being performed. I guess my physical and mental health really doesn't matter, it's all about the money. I give the owners and the companies that oversee and run the Curtis Apts. two thumbs down. I have lived at the Curtis for the past two years, and let me tell you it's been mostly Hell. I have been verbally harassed and my peace and well being has been disrupted by a certain neighbor. I had to call the Bellingham Police numerous times to report this neighbor, I also have gone and called and emailed the leasing office to report and complain about these on going issues with this neighbor. Their response is to email the neighbor and send out a letter. This resident gets to continue breaking the rules and the lease agreement we had to sign to live here. It really stinks when you don't feel safe and comfortable in your place. The management company staff and owner of The Curtis really don't care about the safety and well being of their residents only about keeping every apartment rented and Of Course the Money, that's why there is a high turnover of people moving in and out. This place has already gone down hill in past few years. I don't recommend this place at all. No stars at all, thumbs down...
Read moreI have not even been here for 2 days and I come home to maintenance people that were in my apartment without the decency of even a phone call. I have emotional support animals in my apartment that could have escaped when the maintenance people entered my unit, without even attempting to call or email me beforehand. I feel uncomfortable to even live here after only two days, with no privacy and feel so disrespected. They entered my unit because there was a leak from my shower going to the unit below (which is currently empty) and I understand for emergency reasons the unit needs to be accessed but they did not even attempt to call me before, or even after the situation to let me know what had happened. If I had not walked into the maintenance crew in my building, I would have never even known this happened. I went down to the leasing office incredibly upset requested it be written in my file for anyone who needs to enter my unit for me to be called and they denied that request and said that for the future they will continue to enter my unit without giving me a phone call first. I now feel like my apartment isn't even a place I can feel secure for my emotional support pets because someone can enter at anytime. Not to mention we have been here for 2 days and there is already a leak. The property manager then told me if they enter my unit they are supposed to leave a card on the counter stating that they came in and why they did, which they also failed to do. Emergencies are emergencies, but with 3 maintenance workers one of them could have had the decency to call, and I understand they "legally do not have too" as the property manager kept saying, it would be nice to feel like the place you live actually cares about their residences and would be willing to make a note in their file...
