I moved to Bellingham in October of '13. Primo was under a transition at that point from old to new ownership. I had tried it once before and didn't enjoy it, but gave it another shot. A few times in and everything was going great.
That's when, incredibly, the new ownership started seriously messing up SIMPLE things. The first two times it was a poorly wrapped wrap. Something most people can understand. I didn't say anything since the food was all right.
Not long after that I started getting really small things mixed up, and mind you I only use their online ordering tool. My phone isn't that great, and I'm very quiet when I speak so it's a much more convenient service. Anyhow, I order subs, and ingredients are missing. The most common thing was ordering a buffalo chicken sub with the works, and not getting anything buffalo related on the sub. Tenders just weren't dipped in it.
I called based on that incident and the man whom I believe is the owner told me I could come down for a new sub. I said no thanks because thankfully I had Frank's (which is WAY better than their sauce), and told them just to make a note and make a change. He didn't sound too pleased about a customer trying to resolve something.
That was about three weeks ago. I ordered again from Primo just before I wrote this for my family. We got a sub, a salad, and a calzone. I ordered a meat lovers specifically, and again, ORDERED ONLINE. Clearly printed on my handout receipt, their copy too, MEAT LOVERS. I go to take a bite when I come home, and it's a steak calzone with peppers and onions. How the? Seriously?
Enough's enough. These are too many careless, silly mistakes that any 16 year old starting in a kitchen could avoid better. It was the same staff each time I ordered. When I called back on the calzone, whoever answered still did not sound all that great about answering a customer complaint.
Primo has lost my business. If these things happen to me as much as that, they must happen to others. Just go somewhere else, there are WAY better places out there...

Spoke with a nice person who, though a bit confused by some of my questions like "do you charge for extra sauce?" Answer, "no, oh, yes, sorry about that, oh, wait a minute, no." Fine. I told her it was delivery and since it was the first time, I spelled the name of my street...she spelled it back. I asked the price, she quoted the price. I asked how long and she said about 25 minutes. All good so far..."we'll be paying by cash, please have the driver deliver to the side door." Response, (as if writing it down...a plus...) deliver to side door. Will there be anything else?" After 25 minutes, we decided to give it another 5 (first time delivery and all), Okay, we'll give it another 5...okay if there not here in 5 minutes, we're calling.
Five minutes later we call and are told there is no order for our address...in fact, there is no call from the phone number in their system, and sorry, we must have made a mistake. Hmmm. I check my phone log (thanks Verizon Fios) and find that the number I was currently on was logged and directly below it about 45 minutes earlier was another call placed to the exact same number. Hmmm, I'm pretty confident that I made the call. We asked how he wanted to resolve this, and he offered to take the order and deliver it in 30 minutes. I asked if there would be some kind of discount and he said "no, you never placed an order to begin with!" So, we tore up the menu and tossed it...Hated the service, have no opinion...

She asks the ingredients she says she got it and that it’s all set and hangs up the phone. Doesn’t ask for name, give order number, or pickup time.
We go to pick up the order… I’m a trans female with extremely feminine features and this girl doesn’t look at me directly or speak to me with a full voice beyond a whisper. I’m used to this kind of stuff so I give her the card even tho I couldn’t hear what she said. I get to the car with the pizza and check my bank. They charged me 27.76 for a pizza they advertise as 18.99 on their menu. Like on the present current menu inside the store above the counter. So I go back inside to get the issue corrected and the manager keeps referring to me as a man even though I’m 118 lbs, have no facial hair, very well developed anatomy, and am holding a bedazzled purse.
Never again. I don’t care how good...
