This was the 1st time taking our polydactyl cat to have her nails trimmed by a groomer. We normally have it done at the vet, but it required us giving medication the night before and 1/2 hour prior to the appointment, as she does not like having her paws touched. She does not do good with the medication and all the noise at the vets office, they never get all her nails. Her nails grow faster than my other cats, and this process always traumatized her when she got home. She would run and hide for the rest of the day.
