Kind of disappointed in this place after hearing rave reviews about it and getting not the greatest food. We ordered a garden salad with house dressing, chicken fingers and french fries, cauliflower crust pizza with chicken franchese on it, chicken bacon ranch pie, and chicken Murphy with gluten free pasta. The house salad was the best thing we had and it was because of their dressing which had alot of flavor, my son's chicken tenders were good and there french fries are like really thick natural cut fries but we're heavily seasoned something I'm not fond of but where super crispy. Everything else we got was either sub par or horrible unfortunately. My husband got a chicken bacon ranch pie which had hardly any bacon on it and as far as he was concerned was no where near as good as the places we usually order from, my cauliflower chicken franchese pie I ordered without cheese and gluten free but it was horrible with dried out tough chicken, burnt crust and no lemon or lemon flavor?? They should have tossed the franchese sauce which was more like water with zero seasoning on the chicken not the pizza that just became soggy from that mistake. The chicken Murphy was the most spicey dish we have ever had in our lives and we've had it at several places and it's generally a spicey dish but this was not edible unfortunately I had to throw it out because the pasta was very undercooked. The staff was nice it's just too bad they can't cook anything a little different then what...
Read moreOrdered for take out two pies, one gluten free which was good, the other however was not the pie we ordered, only to notice when we arrived home. We called the store, and we were hassled by employee #1 whom informed us she would take off $7 because THEY got the order wrong, awful response! We live about 4-5 miles from the restaurant and they deliver, would it not have been a more proper response to simply have said, "Our mistake, we will get you out what you ordered right away"? That certainly did not happen and then it just escalated to speaking with a female whom identified herself as "The Manager". She offered absolutely ZERO help and was condescending to say the least so the conversation was relatively short due to her arrogance. We concluded that we'd just dispute the charge with the credit card company and dispose of the pizza that was 100% wrong, how do you wind up with Sausage and Green Peppers when the order was for Pepperoni, Sausage and extra cheese? We just dug the leftovers from the fridge and made due but I can't explain the attitudes we received from two different employees over what they eventually confessed to be an error on their part . . . No, No, No,...

I’ve been a loyal customer to Pies on 9 in Beachwood since they opened and have always enjoyed their pizzas, especially the Chicken Balsamic pizza, which used to be a favorite in our household. Unfortunately, I’ve noticed a decline in quality over time, which led us to order less frequently — particularly at my husband’s suggestion.
Today, while he was away, I decided to give it another shot and ordered the Chicken Balsamic. I was extremely disappointed to find that it no longer comes with the balsamic glaze that made it so good. Instead, it had what tasted like balsamic dressing, which left the pizza soggy and nothing like it used to be. It also looked and tasted like it was just slopped together with little care.
If you're going to change a key ingredient or alter a recipe, there should be some communication with customers. I spent over $28 on a gourmet pizza, plus nearly $10 more in fees and tip, and ended up with something I couldn’t even enjoy, and was only feeding myself.
Very disappointed, and sadly, I won’t be ordering or recommending this...
