Went threw the drive thru.... Waiting for over 5 minutes at the speaker. Kept saying hello into the speaker. Only to get no reply at all back.. I pulled around to the first window. No one was even there. Then a guy with long hair and facial hair walked up to the window. And said how he couldn't take my order at the window because I was not at the speaker. Meanwhile I waiting at the speaker for well over 5 minutes before pulling around. Then told me he would be nice this time and take my order at the window. Are you kidding me? I waited over 5 minutes. Even repeatedly said hello. To apperently no one at all. Then he unwillingly took my order at the window. No one was in front or behind me in line. Then paid and went to the next window. Where a older lady with short silverfish or white hair was just standing there looking at her nails and joking with another younger employee..
Customer service was completely horrible. And the guy working in the first window. Should not be working at the window. Maybe in the kitchen where he wouldn't be so rude to customers. I used to work in fast food. Never would have treated a customer how I got treated there tonight.
Maybe it's time for a restaffing of the store. I personally know people who put in applications and haven't gotten a call. But you have it posted your hiring all positions. Maybe you should start hiring then. And letting this bad staff go. Maybe it'll help your sales and d.t. times and lessen your customer compliments. Just an...
Read moreI grew up with Roy Roger's and was even a member of the Buckaroos Club way back then. In high school, I even worked for a time at the one that used to be close to Fischer Blvd on Route 37 (long since closed). While much of the original tastes are gone, this has been a comfort food go-to when I visited the area. Now that I live nearby again, it is certainly much more of a convenience. The chicken tenders are white meat stips and when fresh, they are absolutely addicting (the fried too). While I have always gone for the roast beef sandwiches (not the reconstituted beef that Arby's tries to pass off), I also recently had my first Double R burger in over 30 years. The main ingredients are still there and it was surprisingly good. The one thing that always made Roy's stand out is the fixins bar. Long before salad bars became popular, this was a place you could go to pile on the pickles, onions, etc to your heart's content. I am glad it is still there. Service is generally friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is also very clean, but I wish they would fix the front corner of the building that looked like it was hit by a car or truck. The bricks are pushed in and while whatever vehicle it was that caused the damage never broke through the wall, you can clearly see where it was pushed in. For those who never had Roy Roger's before, it is certainly worth giving a try. I can't say they have healthier food than other fast food establishments, but I think it...
Read moreNice place for a nostalgic meal experience. There aren’t many places left in busy towns/cities that just give you that back in the day, childhood vibe. No gimmicks, no extras just good people, good food and a good time. The chicken tenders are the crispiest yet juiciest I’ve had from a fast food restaurant. Quite flavorful too! The fried chicken itself is also very good but a little too breaded for my personal taste (just like KFC and Popeyes so it’s still worth a try). The fries are good not too greasy, no added salt and served fresh and golden. They have a salad bar area where you can add your own toppings and condiments (a very nice touch!) drink machines are fresh so whatever flavor you choose should be nice and crisp. They even have a cheesesteak! Pretty good too. There’s ample seating at this location and it is clean. The staff are welcoming and they maintain the facility throughout their shifts. Plenty of parking available as well as a drive thru. On a Friday night, this place was getting packed just around 7pm with families including young children. That’s...
