They broke my car on purpose to promote their new mechanic service.
We'd packed the car to go to Oregon for vacation & this was our last stop before leaving town. I asked them to install speakers I'd bought elsewhere. They put them in. Afterward, as we tried to buckle up, none of the seatbelts would retract.
They put me & my teens in the waiting room, to "fix" the seatbelts. My son went to the door to watch, he saw the mechanic open the hood & use a wrench to hit the pipe to my radiator. A sudden burst of steam issued forth. They came in saying I needed immediate expensive repairs.
(Seatbelts are not controlled by anything under the hood, there was no need to open the hood at all.)
