No. Just no. We went here based on a recommendation and was super excited. It seems like a ranch house that was turned into a makeshift restaurant. Because let me make this clear, this is not a real restaurant. I was sorely disappointed when I realized we were at a dirty, run down place that makes us cook our own breakfast. So obviously I was already disappointed but it just never got better to warrant all those 4 and 5 stars. The table had a small dirty griddle with 5 seats. There wasnt enough ventilation to eliminate the cooking smoke and smell. The service was poor.

The breakfast menu is small and nothing special especially considering that we had to cook our own food. I got the impression very quickly that the regular pancakes were a mix made from a box since the waiter made it clear that the other mix was made there. When I asked how are the biscuits, he said what do you mean? They are pillsbury. Great! Love to know that I'm going to make my own food on a small, dirty griddle and the biscuits aren't even made fresh. My friend ordered apple juice. Our waiter brought us our water and said that the apple juice would take a little longer because he had to get it from a fridge. Ok no problem. It was a while before I had to ask what happened to the juice? He had forgotten about it. I ordered the Joey. As someone else mentioned, the eggs and pancake toppings come in small 1 oz containers. The timing of the food just didnt make sense. They brought us our cooked proteins but we hadn't even gotten the eggs or pancake mix. Three of us ordered pancakes but they brought us 1 pitcher of the regular mix. We had to ask for more. Oh and by ask for more, I mean that my husband had to ask another server as our server barely came by to ask if we needed anything else. My husband ordered hash browns. He tried cooked it for a while but it never crisped up. And the final straw that broke the camel's back? Our waiter who barely did a thing for us, made sure to give us our check while we were still cooking our own food. To me, that is super rude. Needless to say, he did not stop by again after he brought our checks.

To that reviewer who recommended to take your wife or girlfriend here, please don't be silly. Make your partner a wonderful meal in the comfort of your own home using fresh ingredients. The only reason to eat there is because you're not home often enough to stock your cabinets and fridge with the ingredients for breakfast or pancakes and bacon is a treat for you. Overall, bad concept and even worse execution and service. You can spend less for fresher...

So my wife has been wanting to go here since forever but every time we went by the place was packed and we chose not to go. With that in mind, we thought for sure this place must be great and made us want to go even more. From the outside-in it gives the appearance of an old house that was converted to a restaurant. As you walk in, you feel like you are stepping into someone’s kitchen. Today we got in quickly since we chose to visit during a weekday rather than try to go on a weekend. It is my feeling that this place’s popularity is based on the nostalgia and novelty of cooking your own food on a griddle in front of you. There are a few things you can order that come out pre-pared but the general thought is most people go for the cook it yourself option. I guess I’m not that into doing this, especially at the prices being charged. If I’m paying, I want people to cook, prepare and serve to me. Not me do the work. The service was a little slow but not bad and the server was pleasant and nice. For food, my wife chose the French Toast option with a side of pre-pared turkey sausage. They brought out the bread and egg batter but the bread was a very thick small French baguette. This caused the egg batter to soak more in the bread and even though cooked on outside for quite a while, the middle was soggy. The syrup was very thin and not that great. This was not our idea of traditional thin French Toast. I chose the non cook at table item of biscuits and gravy. This was the bright spot for me as the biscuits and gravy were very good. The serving was generous and reasonably priced but it’s that add ons that drive your bill up. I had 3 link sausages that added $4 to my bill, small cup of coffee $3, wife’s sausage also $4. By the time you add these, we were up to around $16 per person including tip. This for just French toast, biscuit and gravy, sausage and coffee. I’m assuming that the popularity of the place also comes with the option of all you can eat pancakes for about $18 per person. Other than that, it was nothing special and I don’t see the popularity of the place. This will be a...

I read about this place and made it a point to eat here on our road trip through Nashville, as I thought my kids would really like the unique experience, and they did! We went on a friday morning in July, and there was no wait, which was great! Parking is tight at the lot in front, and people were parked pretty crooked but there was a sign for more parking elsewhere. You can choose all you can eat pancakes and order the rest(toppings, sides, eggs etc) seperate "a la carte", or you can do the package,l called "the Joey" which is on the back on the menu, and it walks you through all the things to order and you just pick 2 from each sections. We ordered the all you can eat pancakes which come w 1 topping per person and we got some hasbrowns, ham and sausage links a la carte. The ham was very salty, the sausage links were ok. We like hasbrowns well done and they took forever to cook and need quite a bit of space, so would go with eggs instead next time.

We enjoyed the experience and the pancakes were pretty good. I would suggest they put the batter in squueze bottles so it's easier for kids to do and you can make cool shapes, but the jugs the batter came in work well enough. The latte we got was on the milky side, but good.

While we were there it was pretty loud, with fans/ac going, all the people etc, but I don't think there is much they can do about that, as it's a converted house and not neccesarily designed to be a restaurant, so the tables are pretty close together. Overall the experience was fun and unique and we enjoyed the food well enough, but it would be a one time thing for us probably, even if we did live close. Service was great and everyone friendly and helpful. They also do lunch with soups and grilled cheese sandwiches but we did not try those, but the...
