Mrs. Nadia's Army Navy Surplus Store — Local services in Bessemer

Having visited this surplus shop one year ago, upon first impression was not impressed. A huge overhead for a business with limited selection, extremely overpriced for 90 percent of products. Negative atmosphere for energy the aura is suffocating, extremely toxic, rude, and unprofessional owners as I have experienced personally here. Operated by a black husband, and wife, ONE YEAR LATER the EXACT same products sitting in the same spots NEVER moved collecting dust. I have best friends who are shop owners for other surplus shops that are like family been doing business with other places 10+ years. As a shop/business owner myself this places degrades you as a human being, they degrade their customers for "Not spending enough money" with them, can you blame them? with the amount of broken pieces from hydration packs, holsters, uniforms etc. Never...

This place is very clean and having lot's of thing's to look at from,, T-shirts to Bumper stickers , camo bags to Army vest to hold your favorite thing's .. Also, have cool signs to put around your house or business.. And Sooo much more ... !! Thanks to Gifts and Gadgets Wonder-Fail of not wanting to help me and just give me a price of a item in the glass case... My husband and I are new to Alabama and made a special trip to this store. Upon arriving, there was a sign saying "out to lunch". It was close to 1pm so we took a drive around and came back shortly after. Still not open. While sitting in the parking lot (watching probably 6 other cars pull in and back out), we called the store and asked if they were open and told them we made this special trip.
