Fun place, definitely need more staff. We got an arcade card and this one lady was in such a rush it didn't work so we go back up she tries to fix it, didn't work again. Third time going up actually takes their time and then it was fine. There were a couple of games that were broken, like one where you would slide your card there was nothing there, just completely broken off. Another game where the lights don't light up to tell you how many tickets you'd be getting. Space invaders lagged badly and there was definitely no one at all to fix any of these games or come around like you would see at other arcades. The employees were helpful but very disorganized and definitely needed more help. One of the vr games didn't work well. There was a birthday party going on and they said to come back around a certain time for the mini golf. So after doing other things and coming back for the mini golf we were told to wait again but then the manager said it was fine to let us go. When it was time to get the prizes from the arcade points it seemed like there was only one person there to help with many people trying to get prizes. I always have the calculator ready and pay attention to my points anyway but they were literally helping two people at once. Doesn't seem like the time to be multitasking. I was asking for things while some lady was also asking for things, just very disorganized. I would definitely go on a week day, some adults just have no sense and we're just leaning against arcade games as if there werent tons of people in the arcade area walking around picking games to play. We also got an attraction card which was good for 4 attractions. Maybe they should have an employee at the mini golf with clubs and balls, I went pass the line inquiring anyway but this is a very busy place and there was a huge line, so I tried to find some employee to ask if we would even have to wait in that line if we already paid for the attraction just to get the balls and clubs. They did help us and give us the balls and clubs without waiting but again just very disorganized. I have been here a few times when it was just monster mini golf and that was much much better even on their busy days. It seems like they have too much...
Read moreIf I could rate my experience a 0 I would . My friends and I drove over an hour to visit this location today just to be very disappointed in the end . My friends and I paid for 3, 4 attraction bundle game cards ( about $25 each) and only few of the attractions were actually in working condition. Prior to us driving to this location we called twice to confirm pricing and if a reservation was required and at no point was it mentioned to us that some of the attentions were not in working condition. We then inquired about receiving a refund seeming that the attractions we paid for were not working & Some of the staff was very welcoming and I believe would have been able to do more given if they had the proper knowledge. Thomas who I believe to be a manger of some sort was who we ended up working with in the end and he was everything but helpful . He insisted on giving us a new game card / gift card instead of an actual refund and insisted that the pos system would not allow home to process a refund and would give us a “ reason “ as to why but when his reason was incorrect he then found another excuse and always redirected us back to his game card offer , although we already expressed we weren’t interested in that option and had already driven very far to get there . No where on our receipt list any policies or information regarding if sales are final . After settling for not receiving the refund and also giving back our game cards that still had unused credits on then we asked for a contact number or email for corporate and he said “ oh the owner doesn’t like to give out his number “ and gave us the same email listed online for general inquiries. And a name that does not match the public record of the actual owner of the company Overall he was very dismissive and sarcastic about our experience and this is somewhere I will not be visiting again . I suggest that if you do plan to visit this location to call in advance and ask about the condition of the games...
Read moreWe had two birthday parties for our 8 & 6 year old girls. Each experience went off without an issue and the staff took extra steps to communicate effectively with us before the party, in addition to making the day of fun, engaging and seamless. As for what the kids will do:
-they run around in the minigolf area taking as many shots as they can while the DJ plays music; mini-golf area is expansive and parents can keep tabs from outside the field.
-extended laser tag game. not sure the capacity but we had 14 kids and four adults in one of the games. laser tag has never failed in being fun. staff sets clear rules and expectations for kids and will ensure they are followed so the time is spent maximizing the enjoyment of playing.
-minibowling and bumper cars are on the downstairs level. both are great. For kids under 7 you’ll need an adult to accompany them on the bumper cars. because the staff there is eager to please and make the birthday party excellent, if you feel that the bumper cars will be too hard to manage with 5-7 yr olds, they will work with you on a fun replacement activity or surprise.
-arcades are fun, and the VR stuff downstairs that’s outside the scope of the birthday but is available to everyone when the Cave opens is more than worth the visit. They have axe throwing as well. Obviously not for the children’s parties. Can’t trust these kids with a tube of toothpaste, they’re not getting axes.
-last thing to note is we paid extra for the 10am-noon package and it was more than worth the money. There will only be one other party there alongside you and the parties do not get in the way of one another. I highly recommend doing this. If we ever happen to meet in person and the topic of birthday parties comes up, be prepared to hear about the joys of paying extra for the 10am-noon hours before the Cave opens to the public.
Whether it’s a party or just a trip out for the day, consider the Cave as a main...
