Dollar General — Local services in Blacksburg

every time I go to Dollar general and I have such a great time to stop there is just wonderful people they make me laugh they are very helpful point me to everything I need and if they have everything you need I've never went into their looking for something and never found what I was looking for I will visit Dollar general time and time again it's wonderful the one in Blacksburg South Carolina is the best one of all I will go there every time I need something I actually I wasn't there before I go to Walmart I got it for my birthday partiesI go there for camping equipment I go there for snacks for the children I can even go there to throw together a simple dinner if I don't have one on hand like I said they have everything you need I go there for my hygiene products I go there for shampoo perm loans so they can t everything they even have a freezer section with frozen foods and...

The entire store needs a major facelift!! The drop ceiling is completely gone in a rather large section of the store, exposing the sprinkler system & the surrounding ceiling has very obvious water damage. Seems to be a major BAD MANAGEMENT issue (s) that trickles down to all the employees (or lack thereof) who have poor customer service skills in general. There's normally only TWO employees in the store at one time & that includes during the "rush hours" which leaves only one register open at ALL times. It defeats the purpose of stopping in the store all together! Most people prefer Dollar General bc it's got a little bit of everything so it's used as more of an "in & out" or "quick stop" type of convenience store as opposed to going into a Walmart for one or two things. Probably the worst store I've ever shopped at. Not only is the store extremely unkempt, but the staff are some of the rudest people I've met in my life. I was behind an elderly women in line who got shorted $5 on her change. When she brought it up to the cashier, by the name of Misty, she was told "If you don't like it, shop somewhere else". That's when myself and 3 other customers dropped our items and walked out the door. In the parking lot, a fellow customer who walked out of the store informed me that the cashier who said that is actually a 'Store Manager'!!! This is absolutely ridiculous! I will never return to this store, even though it's one of very few stores in Blacksburg. Maybe after Dollar General comes to their senses and decides to fire...
