Uptown Grill — Restaurant in Blacksburg

This place has very good food. I’ve ate here several times and come here often with people. Several of the girls that work there like to broadcast their personal problems out loud and it’s just not professional. Nor do I want to hear about what they’re mad about or what’s going on with them why am enjoying a meal?

For some reason, some people have to broadcast how they feel and they feel that it is important for everybody else around to hear the same thing. I have a problem with that.

So I’m giving a pretty good score on this because the food is phenomenal, I would recommend takeout because it has happened several different times where we eat there and I just have to hear this woman’s problems and what she is telling everybody she’s feeling like.

Keep it to yourself, lady, we all have problems and you are making your patrons experience or at least some of them not very pleasant

Normally a good place to eat. The food is great. The woman at the counter puts a bad taste in your mouth with her attitude on a normal basis. Yesterday was no exception to her "charm" however before we went in we noticed they were closing at 2pm and it was 1:35pm due to the weather so instead of my family going in we decided to get it togo. I walked in behind another customer and was waiting to place my order. I waited and I opened the door to ask my family a question and when I turned back around to wait she told me they weren't taking anymore orders. I stated that I had been waiting and why didn't she tell me when I walked in and she said she didn't want to be rude, yet she is always rude and was rude by making me wait then deciding to tell me they weren't taking anymore orders.
