This place has really gone down hill they will threaten you with all kinds of fines and fees and give you notices about this and that for what they think is coming grom your unit but the leasing office people mostly all of maintenance its only 2 guys with respect at all the rest will laugh and disregard your complaints concerns or problems i have to threaten to contact corporate just to speak directly to the property manager if and when she's in and available I've called corporate several times also filed complaints about the cleanliness of laundry facilities outside in front of the building theres all kinds of disturbances throughout the day and night constantly met with well what would you like for us to do or want done or snickering and then say oh im sorry you heard that the parking is horrible and you don't get a spot anymore unless you have a car but i cant drive i have car services or friends and family drive me and sometimes its late and they cant park i communicate with the property manager directly and i just keep being told have paper work filled out and then maybe ill be approved for a spot they are increasing rent charging for utilities now but we dont have control over ac/heat no dishwasher in unit no washer and dryer in unit also cant have these items theres no seperate meters so im not sure how they will be billing for utilities unfortunately i cant move and none of my concerns are taken seriously nor are there any soultions this is just what happened today i had to live with black mold in my air duct system that kept making me sick and had to call health department to get them to make them clean it i do have documentation as well its just so disappointing and the unprofessional approach is highly disappointing you would think its project housing the way they disrespect and disregard you and now corporate is never available nor...
   Read moreNot a current resident but have visited this location several times as I have a friend who lives here. The biggest problem with this apartment complex is the parking situation. If you live here and plan on having visitors, don't. Residents are told not only by the management, but by their private towing company one thing, and then shown another. We were told that a visitor must have a visitor pass to park on site and then can park at a spot in the parking lot. Unfortunately at 3am in the morning when I walked out to a missing car and empty parking spot, I found out that I had been misinformed. I did not park in a no-parking zone, double park, or commit any other parking violations and was following instructions exactly as I was told, yet had my car towed at 3am without warning. When I contacted both the towing company and apartment management, I was told that it was because my car was not parked in a visitor's spot. This would be understandable if there were more than 2 visitor spots to each apartment building. (So I guess over 20 residents in each building have to play rock, paper, scissors to decide who can have a visitor that day). When I discussed the unfairness of what had occurred with both the towing company and management, I was not helped. I guess if you're visiting anyone in this apartment complex and you find that all of their two visitor spots are taken, you must turn around and go all the way back where you came from, even if you have a parking pass.    Read moreI've lived here for about 9 months now and I really don't have any complaints. Maintenance is extremely responsive. There was only one incident that I will say that truly disappointed me. My window was broken after business hours one a Friday night and I called the after hours line. I left 3 messages the night it happened which I must point out the police were involved and received no response. The next morning I awoke to still no response. It was only when I called the next morning which was a Saturday and left a message that I was going to call corporate about the fact and I received no response the night before. If I leave a urgent that my window was broken the night before and nobody responds to the fact that my home was now compromised and my safety was not taken into consideration to the fact that I now could have had an open entry to my home if it wasn't for the double pane windows. They didn't know if the message I left referred to the complete window or a window slot I simply window. So in essence being that I said window it should have understood that an entry was now open and needed to be closed immediately. But nothing! Nevertheless when the maintenance came after Saturday mornings message they were there within 15 minutes.
Being after that I would still recommend Gateway Gardens. The parking is a little bit of a irritation but I'm a one car unit so it's only a issue when I have guests after hours.
