I went into the Horseshoe looking for a 25th anniversary gift for my wife. There are not many stores in Blaine to find something for this kind of milestone gift. There is so much cool stuff in there I had to remind myself to focus. I will definitely be back for more shopping, however, I was able to find exactly what I was looking for. Bill the owner held on to it for me so it could be a surprise for the wife. I am grateful for his help in finding that perfect gift for my wife in his awesome store. Interesting and unique shop with tons of little collectibles.

The owner is definitely VERY opinionated (anti masking, etc.) and not the kind of guy to keep his opinions to himself, so if that bothers you, I wouldn't go. But if you can live with that, go for it.

I exchanged some junk silver with him. He was fair in his dealings and unlike other coin dealers willing to take time and look at the huge variety of junk that I took in.

He also took the time to listen and helped me figure out what was best to sell to him and what was best to keep and use up myself.

Bill the Building and shop owner is a longterm faithful friend to me and to his nighborhood and beyond...in my indepth conversations with Bill over the time I've known him, he has apways sought to understand as well as to be understood. It upsets me to know Bill has closed his shop because of not wanting to offend any further, those who would (imho), cruelly accuse him of bullying, when I know personally that is one of his dislikes. I can only hope Bill will open soon, as I have an admitted addiction to.The best little antique store left...
