“It is no bad thing to celebrate a simple life.” — The Fellowship of the Ring
Working with Cynay Smith of Blaine Bouquets was one of the most magical parts of our wedding journey. She went above and beyond in every possible way, bringing a vision to life that felt as if we had stepped straight into Middle-earth.
Cynay came to our home months before the wedding to scout the land, dreaming with us about how to weave our space into the celebration itself. With a modest budget, she never once made us feel limited — instead, she saw possibility everywhere. She foraged from both her own property and ours, incorporating ferns and branches from the place that means everything to us. She added bark, moss, green walnuts in their pods, old gnarled logs, even weeds — transforming them into art.
What she created was breathtaking: florals and arrangements that looked as though they had grown there for centuries. It felt like we had been transported to the Shire itself. On the wedding day, she moved with incredible speed and precision, building everything from the altar to our unforgettable seating chart cart overflowing with local vegetables, fruits, and flowers.
Cynay is kind, thoughtful, dedicated, and truly a master of her craft. Hers is not a skill that can be taught — it is an innate artistry, the kind that feels touched by something beyond this world. She honored our budget, honored our land, and honored our vision.
We are endlessly grateful for her gift and cannot wait to see what’s in store for Cynay and her boundless creative prowess.

Read moreVery disappointing experience with this business. Ordered flowers for delivery by phone from Canada. Spoke directly with the owner Sarbie to order for my sister’s birthday. (My sister lives in Blaine) While ordering, Sarbie referred to an arrangement she had in the store as an example, a mixed bouquet with a few roses and according to her, fit the amount I agreed to spend. I said that sounded perfect and we confirmed the details. When my sister received the flowers she sent me a photo. There were no focal flowers? No roses? An arrangement of carnations and fillers and greenery. Not what Sarbie and I discussed and agreed upon? The cost was over $112.00 Canadian. $80.00 American I had to follow up with the shop and the staff agreed to drop off some roses to my sister. However by that time my sister was not around to receive the “make up” roses as she was away celebrating her milestone birthday. Overall did not accomplish my goal of surprising my sister and I do not recommend ordering from this shop, especially from afar. This experience was frustrating, awkward and left me with a very bad feeling. I would have to say not a trustworthy business...
Read moreI highly recommend using Blaine Bouquets! I am from out of state and I was planning an elopement in Washington. Since I was "blindly" planning (meaning planning things over the phone and not actually having face to face meetings or appointments) it was kind of intimidating to choose things without seeing it in real life. After talking with Cynay over the phone and describing to her my vision, I felt comfortable that I was in very capable hands. I could tell just from our conversation that she was passionate about her job and that she'd craft beautiful work. Cynay even worked with me to incorporate a bandana that was my brother's along with a bouquet charm so I could honor his memory and carry him with me on my wedding day. When I received my flowers on my wedding day I teared up at the beauty of them! Cynay truly does eloquent work and my expectations were exceeded. I am so grateful to Blaine Bouquets for being a part of my...
