Sparkway Smoke and Vapor — Local services in Bloomingdale

This is a great place. The selection of glass and vapes is very good. The tall guy with the glasses always provides us with wicked good customer service. I say that to say this... I was recently in town and stopped in to get a new little pipe for my north east travels. HOLY SMOKES! I liked this place enough last time around to spank that tall handsome man (who I found out was the owner) with a much deserved 5 star review. But but... now this place is just amazing. It's so nice these days to see an attractive store front in a small town and... actually see people shopping there! The two fellas behind the counter were neatly and professionally dressed. There was some nice indy punk music playing so slightly in the background, enough to drown the chatter of the other patrons, but not to any annoying level. Basically just enough volume to really get in there and tickle your ear vagina. I must have spent an hour looking at things and pestering the nice people with my questions. I finally bought a nice little glass piece that was do original I decided not to use it, as I would have to dispose of it before traveling. Soooo.. I went in and bought me a presh lookin little dugout. I mean these guys re still reppin duggies, bro. Overall I would give them 6 stars, but Google confines me to 5. You're killing it, SPARKWAY! Keep up the grand work, you handsome...

Initially, I walked in because I had to use a bathroom and the bagel shop next door was closed. Jake was kind enough to let me use the bathroom. After glancing at some of the cool products they offer, I ended up purchasing a new water pipe from Sparkway as well as some other goodies. Jake was thoughtful and patient with regards to my selection.

When I came home to unpack everything, I realized that part of my product was missing.. When I called the shop, Jake had picked up the phone. He apologized that he forgot to put the item in the bag.

I asked if he would not mind bubble wrapping and mailing the missing item (I live 40 mins away) and happily obliged. As a consumer, I felt that I was heard. I must add: I do not believe that the instance was negligence or apathy. I was in a bit of a rush as I had an itinerary for the day, and I believe that Jake sensed this and wanted to be expedient.

I feel that this level of customer service is noteworthy. As a sales person and project manager myself, I am appreciative that Jake wanted to rectify the situation. I am writing this review because I just felt overall this was a solid shopping experience - regardless of the mix-up!...

Great place, great employees, close to home. Few days ago I called 15 minutes before closing to ask if they had a product. The man who answered the phone, Greg, instantly knew what I needed and told me if I got there ASAP he would get me sorted that night. Got two batteries, one was defective from the factory so I went back today. I was worried I might have some kind of issue getting a replacement but....

Greg was super helpful about the whole thing. He checked the battery out, put it on a tester, and promptly recognized the issue and replaced the battery free of charge. He was so helpful I decided to buy a third battery while I was there.

10/10 will go back again for all my smoking/vaping needs. They have totally earned...
